Loved the tour!

We enjoyed our jail tour with Sean! He was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. However, I got really hot inside the jail which doesnt have AC, I told Sean I would need a moment to cool off outside and he kindly offered me a free tour the next night if I couldn't make it back in. Everyone at the tour company was extremely accommodating and kind. would highly recommend.

Not worth the price

The abandoned jail seemed more like an abandoned warehouse. While the guide was very knowledgeable of the history and deplorable conditions of the jail, the site itself lacked any props or suggestions of what life in this jail may have been like.

Really enjoyed the history of the jail. In my opinion that was the best part. The paranormal side of the tour is not really my thing, however my wife really enjoyed it. Overall, great experience and we would definitely recommend.

Spooky place with Mediocre Tour Guide

I thought the prison was great. It was totally a creepy and historic location. However, it would have been nice to sit in quiet and listen to the noises. The tour guide filled every remotely silent moment with all of her stories of her experiences. Maybe she should save room so the rest of can have one.

We heard good reviews from friends, so we took the Haunted Jail Tour. We were w/a group of college aged girls, who screamed a lot and kept the energy up during the tour. Our guide, Sean ( I think was his name) was very informative and obviously knows his history. He kept us in suspense and kept our attention through the tour. It was a bit warm and dark in some places. Not recommended for folks w/disabilities. We will be back for another tour in the future.

Terrible

The guy giving the tour was great! However the tour only took you into 4 rooms and basically they turn the lights off and tell a story to you. Not scary nor was it fun at all. Also the prison is being used by the college so if you find architectural school projects scary I highly don't recommend this scam.

Bulldog Tours responded:
This tour is not supposed to be like a haunted house. I'm sorry if you were misled into believing that was what it was supposed to be. I'm glad you liked your tour guide though. The building is owned by the American College of the Building Arts. They do have some class there during the day. We are sorry if you were distracted by their presence. Thank you for the feedback.
