This was a home run! The crew was wonderful, the ship was clean and comfortable and the narration was informative & interesting! My Mom & I loved it! We got to see things that we never would have on a normal tour. There was food & beverages available, restroom facilites were clean and the staff was wonderful. They do a great job and the tour was worth every penny!

This was our third time on the Carrie B. My husband and I take out of town friends and family on it each time. They all have loved it. We enjoy it each and everytime. The staff is very friendly.

We came to the coast for a "beach vacation." But the day was forecast to be rainy, so we looked for something still fun and outdoors. We called several boat tours that said not going out. The we saw this one that said "rain or shine." So we called, made a reservation on our way there, only 15 minutes away. We were told everything we needed to do and even where to park! The tour was very interesting and we enjoyed our time tremendously!

It was a hot July day but the Air Conditioned part of the boat was perfect! The 6 of us were comfortable and able to chat with each other and was also able to hear the tour guide tell us about the sites. The group picture was only 10.00 and it came out great! I will definately take any out of town guests on this tour! and then the rest of the day you can check out riverwalk and other nice places and restaurants!

We enjoyed the cruise very much, when arriving early parking was close and available. The cruise Carrie B provided quarters for the meter. The ship was accomendating with sunshine, shade or air conditioning. Great choice, The captain was ok with interesting stories and facts.

The Carrie B and her staff are top shelf. Our captain was very articulate and entertaining while providing running commentary on the beautiful mansions on "Millionaires Row" and historical information for the area. The length of the trip, 90 minutes, is just right to keep you entertained without being boring. When in the Lauderdale area, I would recommend that you put the Carrie B near the top of your list of things to do and see.

I give Carrie B the highest mark for cleanliness. The boat was squeaky clean. There's a snack bar. Other than that, the tour was just blah. The tour guide must have been ill because he kept taking breaks. At one point, he even played the radio. There was NO announcement of 'thank you for touring with us, etc.". There was music, then the boat docked, and everyone just starting clearing out on their own. Also, not as many points of interest were announced. I had taken a different tour boat on a previous visit, and the announcer spoke the ENTIRE time. He never ran out of information to share; never took a 'break'; never flipped on the radio, AND he bid us farewell as we were docking. I wish I could recall the name of the boat so that I could recommend it to everyone.

The Carrie B loads in a weird spot, on a sparse side street. Be sure that you know where you're going because it's rather easy to drive right by. The other tour I took is located in an outdoor mall area with restaurants, a movie theatre, and a public restroom-- a MUCH better area for visitors-- especially for visitors that rely on cabs or water taxis to get around. After getting docking off of the Carrie B, it took FOREVER to hail a cab. I did not feel comfortable walking along that side street. There's not much around there and you're well-hidden away from the main drag. If you are concerned about safety in an unfamiliar surrounding, I do not recommend the Carrie B because, again, it's on a side street; whereas the better boat tour that I'd recommend loads in an open area entertainment/office complex.
