This was the best way to spend 3 1/2 hours on a Sunday morning. The tour is both insightful and very entertaining. The bus is very comfortable and everyone so friendly. Scott was the best guide, taking us everywhere the tour advertised plus throwing in some cool surprises. Time flew by. Music was of the era and videos and music timed perfectly to where we were driving at the moment. Everything was perfectly arranged for the best experience. I've been on many guided tours around the world and this has to be one of the best I've ever been on. Just cannot say enough good things. I will be going back and bringing many more friends.

i was expecting to go to the gate of the cielo drive house, but the tour did not go there. i still would have attended the tour, but i would have liked to know that so i could have made personal arrangements. also, i was extremely pleased that scott, who hosts the "six degrees" dvd, hosted my tour. i came from minneapolis, mn specifically for the tour, so that made my day extra special.

Very atmospheric and well informed. The Guide (Scott) knew his stuff, and the sixties music added authenticity. A truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend.

The Helter Skelter Tragical tour despite the dark history of the subject is an interesting and highly entertaining tour, the multimedia presentation interlaced with Scott's amazing knowledge of the case and hollywood history in general, you even see all the subcultures of LA whilst on it. Willy Wonka in his purple Willy Wonka car, tranny prostitute and a guy walking the streets with a matic (trench Digging tool). Looking forward to going on his other tours on my next trip to LA

Amazing and Informational Tour

This tour was a blast. It was extremely informational. My tour guide was the very same guy that made the movie/documentary "Six Degrees of Helter Skelter." He was awesome and kept the entire tour interesting, there was not one dull moment. He was very knowledgeable and backed up his facts. I am not a Manson follower but went on the tour because these murders were widely publicized tragic events and caught my attention. I received much more information about these tragic events from our tour guide that was not mentioned in the book "Helter Skelter," and it is a different experience to actually be at these very locations of where these murders occurred. I also like the fact that part of the ticket sales goes to a good cause which is explained on the website. I was glad I went on this tour.

My wife and I cannot thank Scott of Dearly Departed Tours enough for the superb tour his company provided. It’s our firm belief that based on everything we saw, all of the things he especially pointed out, and the late 1960s culture he recreated for us that he does not charge enough for this tour. If you want a taste of Hollywood (both the light and dark side) and 1960s era rock and roll history, take this tour!

This tour was amazing! So informational, extremely interesting and so much fun! Our tour guide, Scott, was funny and provided us with all the information we needed and wanted to know. You can tell he is so passionate about it, and the guests definitely feed off of his energy. I was very pleased with the amount of places that we looked out and loved the combination of music, video, and talking that was incorporated. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and I can't wait to go on another Dearly Departed tour!!!!

This was a very interesting tour. Some history I didn't know about the crimes was learned and some of the history about the crimes supports some of my views on the crime. I wouldn't call it fun as such but had a great time!

Great tour guide. Thanks Scott
