I'm so glad we decided to take this tour. Scott added a great sense of humor to the tour and made it fun and interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone that would like to learn about more than just the lights and glamour of Hollywood.

I thought the tour was informative and fun, we would look at their other tours. Just fyi make the stop at the farmers market a all the time layover/bathroom break because 15 min of street food would be an awesome sddition to your tour.

A very entertaining, professional and interactive tour. It was clear that our tour guide loved his job, and that excitement was contagious. As he drove us around on the tour bus we were entertianed by a television showing clips of movies that contained various parts of Hollywood, we'd view the movie clip and then see what the location looks like now. Not to mention learn a bit of the history.

The bus tour had not one dull moment, it included fun trivia games and prizes, it almost wasn't like a 'tour' but a party where we learned, talked, and just had a great time, I'd absolutely go on it again.

The films location cover a wide variety of films from 'Rebel with a cause' to Pretty Woman to Nightmare on elm street, and even some recent favorites.

The fact that we see a clip of the location on film before really puts the icing on the already delicious cake. Great experience, a definite thumbs WAY UP.

Enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide Scott really knows his stuff. Well versed on the history of Hollywood and locations. Really knew his way around town and seemed to really enjoy his job.

Would advise anybody to go. We are ready to take another one of his tours.

Great time by all!

This was my third time on this tour and it was great. My guests that hadn't been on the tour yet loved it. Only one complaint. I was sad to find out upon our arrival that Scott would not be our tour guide. We were really looking forward to seeing him and my guest meeting him for the first time. It is understandable that he can't do every tour everyday but it would have been nice to know in advance that he has associates helping with the tour. But his tour guide helper was just as good for first timers! I just missed Scott's wicked sense of humor on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

My favorite LA tour

I have to admit something - I'm a repeat offender. I took this tour in 2010 and loved it so much that I had to come back and bring a few friends along.

If you happen to like the darker, grittier side of things, this tour will peel back the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, showing you the crazy underworld that has existed the entire time.

I recommend this tour to every person who mentions that they are taking a trip to LA.

Ok, not really but I had a great time and so did my friend Donna. Brian was a great guide and he filled us with lots of useless but fun information. He told us about the Car Wash movie location that never was and sure enough our other tour told us that erroneuous information.

If you want to go on a tour that shows interesting architecture along with salatious scandals this is the tour for you. I appreciated seeing the Chateau Marmont up close and the building that William Randolph Hearst bought for Mrs. Inch after Mr. Inch's untimely mysterious death.

Thanks to Brian and to Scott and tell them Canadian Babe sent you!

I would recommend this tour to all my friends! Our tour guide, Richard, was wonderful. There was so many interesting historical facts. My friends and I are all lifetime residents of L.A. County , so with that being said, this tour is not just for visitors.

This year, my birthday fell on Easter sunday. My friend had suggested we try one of the haunted hollywood tours and you were highly recommended on yelp. I was thrilled to find you were still giving a tour on this day when many businesses are closed.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED the tour. our guide was fabulous (wish i could remember is name!). i appreciated all his insider info, we could tell how much he loved the city and all it's secrets and scandals. he made the tour fun and funny which was nice because some of the stops were pretty morbid. of course that's why we took the tour in the first place, but it was nice to have the grisley death scenes peppered with stops like the bathroom where george michaels was arrested for lewd behavior and the hamburger joint where hugh grant picked up divine brown. also lovely to drive through hancock park. my husband and i live close by so it was great to find out who our celebrity neighbors are.

next time we want to do the helter skelter tour. this was a birthday i will never forget and will recommend the tour to everyone we know.

I was a little disappointed in the tour. I guess I was expecting more crime scenes. The OJ case was never touched upon not any of the major serial killers, ie Richard Ramirez, etc. What about the original Superman? I just think I would have liked to learn more about the tragic side of old Hollywood.

This tour was highly entertaining tour, not as macabre as you might think but definitely for adults. Richard was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, and a good storyteller. His love for the area was obvious, and his insights gave a more complete history of the events and locations on the tour. A great time, highly recommended!
