Well worth the time and money

Nice boat, friendly and accommodating staff. Got to see one Minke whale and some dolphins, including babies. Beautiful weather and spectacular view of coast on trip.

Two pointers: 1) Book on weekends because they have a marine biologist on board on weekend trips, and she was very interesting and helpful. 2) Be sure to arrive at the wharf area early because parking gets tight, at least on sunny weekends. There are plenty of places to eat and shop if you need to kill a little time though.

I received this trip as a birthday gift. I had been whale watching in different places 3 times before, and had never seen a whale, so I was hoping to see one this time. The captain, crew and naturalist were fabulous, very interested in our comfort and questions. They had charts and books onboard to further educate us. We had plenty of room to sit and see.

All at once, there was a Gray Whale, a juvenile male, going the wrong direction! He was friendly to us and let us get closer, showed us his fluke and flipper and he lounged in the sea. He stayed near the boat for quite awhile. "Happy Birthday!" the naturalist said to me. On the way back dolphins played in the wake of the boat, we saw a Sun fish, and two other whales. Also sea lions, pelicans and all kinds of other birds. One lady took beautiful pictures and emailed them to us. This is a birthday I'll never forget!

Although we didn't see any whales, the dolphins made up for it. There were hundreds of them. What a great experience.

The marine biologist provided indept information on the various types whales and dolphins, the sea lions and the birds. The rest of the crew was very professional, friendly and helpful.

We are looking forward to another tour with you and will recommend you to our friends.

Thanks for a grand time!

Ute

PS. It might not be a bad idea to remind your prospective clients of the possibility of sea sickness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We loved having a marine biologist on board to tell us what we were seeing and to answer questions. The captain made every effort to get us to where we were able to see about 30 minutes of blue whale activity even though it meant we would be a little late getting back. It made the cruise that much more enjoyable. The crew was friendly and helpful and the catamaran was clean and comfortable. We had a great time.

THE BLUE WHALES AND THOUSAND DOLPHINS -FANTASTIC

I have been on whale watch rides for decades and never saw a whale close up.

the slow moving blue whale was like a submarine nearby....It was one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen.

Then the two huge pods of dolphins with babies and different jump styles was also exhilirating.....On the way home as an extra treat we saw this huge "sharkhead" like fish that was sunning itself for quite some time before disappearing...I forgot its name--your guide identified it...

We are now trying to pack in a couple more trips before September to see if we can keep our luck running.

It was an incredibly cool trip rivaling the years of Caribean diving that we have done.

thanks so much.....see you very soon.....Ed and Nora

The catamaran felt safe and yet we had quite a ride with the waves running about 4-6 feet. We didn't see any whales but quite a few dolphins.

OUSTANDING TRIP

This was the best whale watching trip I had ever been on. We saw 2 whales within the first half hour. We played with hundreds of dolphins. The crew was helpful and professional. What made this trip so outstanding was having Morgan, a naturalist on board. She answered all of our questions and gave us so much useful information that we all actually had a much better understanding of what we were seeing in the ocean.

excellent expedition -- kudos!

It was a 3-hour whale watching expedition. The captain went out of his way, we thought, to locate pods of dolphins as well as remained attuned to whale sightings. He extended the expedition by half an hour or more after discovering a whale, about the time that we would have headed back to shore, and taking us to it.

Kudos!
