Grandparents scored major points w/ the grandkids!

Our grandson (6yrs old) had been asking to go see the whales. So I found a coupon & took both grandkids (the other grandkid is a year & half). We saw 2 blue whales & about 500 dolphins! The captain was amazing...he was definitely taken care of our group while respecting the sea animals! He was full of information...better than reading a book or pamphlets! :) My husband & I absolutely enjoyed every minute and loved being able to look like heroes to our grandkids! They were giddy with excitement to see the whales and especially the dolphins because they were so close we could almost touch them. The Catamaran was new & spacious. It accommodated everyone just fine! Go book your tour!!!!

Mugged at Sea
Sat, Sep 7, 13   2:00 PM joyzzzz Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
We've been on several whale watching tours, but we have never been "mugged" before! The whale came right at us like the shark in Jaws, and it went right under the catamaran and out the other side. The captain knew exactly where to find the whales and had officially named one of the ones we saw. The crew was super friendly. The boat was stable, comfortable, and not crowded, leaving all the patrons grinning widely as we shared the wonders before us. From the online purchase of the tickets to the disembarking with a return discount coupon, everything went smoothly.

We have two college age daughters, and it's not always easy to find things to do that we will all like. We all loved this. We saw 4 blue whales.

"Coolest day of my life!"
Fri, Aug 23, 13   2:00 PM Swaine777 Female 30-39 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
My 12 year old son and I went on this trip. He has extensively traveled and to this point in his life rated Legoland over the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Thailand, the Olympics and everything else. Mid-trip he declared this "the coolest day of my life!" The captain taught us a lot and we hope to return someday with the rest of our family.

Blue whale sightings!
Thu, Aug 15, 13   2:00 PM lauragirl Female 40-49 Local Family With Children
We went on a 2pm tour, saw numerous dolphins then were so excited to see the world's largest animal, the blue whale! The catamaran stopped so we could see up close & snap photos of this amazing creature as it came up for air, blew water out, then flipped its tail up as it submerged. We would wait 5-7 minutes for it to resurface, several times, and the captain did an amazing job of narrating all that we saw. All this just a few miles off Laguna Beach shore, which sites we recognized from the water. My 2 kids ages 4 and 6 loved it. We were lucky the water was calm that day, so no one felt sea sick. I HIGHLY recommend this!

We often go out in January to see the Gray whales but this was the first time to go out in August to see the Blue whales. The captain took us to the right spot to observe some Blue whales and provided a lot of interesting information. We will certainly do it again. It was a great ride.
