This was on of the highlights of our trip. We saw so many whales and got as close as you would ever want to be.

The Captain was a wealth of knowledge and his insight and commentary made it an experience rather than an event. Don't miss it, but take sea sick pills if you get sick as there were at least 12 people who got sea sick and missed everything :(

Absolutely amazing!

My husband and I drove from Fort Irwin (near Barstow) to Dana Point for this tour, and it was so much more amazing than we thought it was going to be (and we were expecting a lot!) The tour guides knew so much and made us all feel really comfortable. We saw lots of dolphins, seals, and had about 4 whale sightings (even though I missed it every time!) Some ppl on the back of the boat saw a gray whale actually come up and out of the water, and we saw a really weird sun fish that was totally unexpected. The coolest thing was they weren't worried about time limits. We came back half and hour late because we were spotting so many "possible" whale sightings that they were hanging around the area long enough for us all to get a good look. The boat was nice and wasn't too crowded. I would definately go back on this tour over and over!

Seeing two mature blue whales up fairly close and tracking them for an hour was a great experience. Seeing a school of nursing dolphins on the way out was a bonus. Paying $20 extra per person for the 1pm cruise gets you a trip on their brand new catamaran which is fast, quiet and clean with no diesel or exhaust fumes. The crew was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. If you have a little luck with the whales as we did, it's hard to see how you could not enjoy this trip.

The Blue Whales were amazing! Now I know why a Blue Whale got it's name. Also saw krill, the whales food.

Fantastic experiences. We saw a whale right off the dock and later we were surrounded by happy dolphins. Highly recommend, it's a very special experience that anybody should have.

About the time we should have turned back to return to the harbor a whale was spotted! Thank goodness the pilot let us watch the whale for a while. He moved the boat closer and even phoned a marine biologist to check on the whale's behavior. We had a great time.
