Too many people on the same boat

Too many people on the same boat, the engine on all the time making noise that probably did not help attracting fish, the chances to get anything were really low. I don't think I would repeat his experience.

More smoke than bites.

I generally do not get seasick, but a constant gail of cigarette and cigar smoke took care of that. With a crowd of people in pretty tight quarters, there should be no smoking allowed. I think it will be a long time before I go out again.

Great Crew, Bad Weather Day, Lots of Fish and Fun

If you are grandparents along for ride with the grandkids be aware there is no comfortable seat on the boat "Reel Fun" and you are sitting in the sun for 4 hours and hopefully not bad sea conditions. Make sure you bring along your dramamine just in case. Kids had a ball when a large wave came over the front of the boat and they got soaked. For me it was too long, too nauseaus, too hot, and stinky between the poor sardines as bait , squid, frying hamburgers, and no where comfortable to sit. Not good for bad back. Everyone was catching fish and they enjoyed that. Sea was not calm due to storm in the morning and rain.

Dana Wharf Sportfishing Twilight Fishing

Everything went fine except the catching. Ticket purchase, tackle rental, on-time departure, friendly and helpful staff were all good. Only problem, too few fish. There were fewer than 25 keepers caught by over 40 fishers. To add insult, a girl on the boat next to our pier caught a bass larger than anyone on our boat and her boat never left the dock.

We stopped to get live bait and didn't go more than a 1/4 mile from shore. didn't use the live bait and didn't catch anything but bass. overall it was ok, but if bass was the only thing being caught we should have been told before going out to fish. The people on the boat were great and very friendly.

The staff were good and patient-I was irritated with some kids and a parent next too me who left there rods unatttended. The staff did all they could but it sort of soured me on the experience-that and the teenages who though nothing of casting their bait near a bird and hooking it.

I still recommend the trip just because of the beauty of the harbor.
