Our guides were great and made sure that we saw as many whales as we could. They did a great job of explaining the habits of the whales and it was very informative and interesting and fun.

It would have been nice if there were stools to sit on as we had to stand for over 2 hours and it got hard after a while. It was hard to see the whales because everyone rushed to the front of the boat- maybe he could have turned the boat around so that the whales could be seen by everyone. But there should be some type of seating. It was a very good tour.

The day was beautiful, and the trip to watch whales was perfect. The captain offered very informative and detail narration about the whales, making the trip that much more enjoyable.

Great tour company. Crew was very friendly and professional. Located a group of 5-7 California Grey Whales within 20 minutes of leaving port and followed them for the next hour. Also saw sea lions and a group of playful dauphins.

What a wonderful way to end the weekend. My mom and I are from Fountain Valley and wanted to do something different on our Sunday. We have been whale watching before but only saw dolphins that day. After reading recent reviews of whale spottings, I decided to buy our tickets on Zerve! My mom has never seen whales in person before and she got to see 5 gray whales! We also saw tons of dolphins and sea lions. We had a blast seeing all of the animals and also hearing the children scream with delight each time a dolphin swam close to the boat. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to enjoy a nice warm "winter" day on the water.

Captain worked hard to find whales or dolphin pod. He did it even thou we ended up being 30 min late returning. It was truly worth the chase to get where they were playing

We really enjoyed our experience, and saw a few whales plus a hilarious pod of dolphins. The only problem was that the great information being shared by the encounter person was so muffled that we could only catch about 1/3 of what he was saying.

Little hard to find a good observation spot due to crowds. It's a fair deal for another free adventure as no whale was observed. Will come with children again.

Boat trip on Dana Point

This was quite an adventure. There was so much to see, where to begin? Best of all we spotted a humpback whale which was remarkable since it was in November! Another wonderful part of the tour was the large pod of dolphins that were swimming along side the boat. Then another type of dolphin species also joined in the act, swimming out a little farther. The captain of the boat was very informative on the different types of marine life we encountered. We also went by a large buoy that had 6 seals perched on top, & were able to get very close for perfect photo opportunities. I would love to do this again if in the area again.
