First Time Whale Watchers!

We were worried we wouldn't see whales and this would be a wasted trip BUT we saw many whales and dolphins! After the 20 minute ride out to deep water, we were seeing spouts from the whales and there was a pod coming up for air every 3-5 minutes! It was exciting for a Midwesterner! We also saw dolphins with their young and some daring dolphins playing in and out from under the boat! We had a great time and would definitely go again. We went on the 10am tour. It was the perfect time for us.

A beautiful, calm, sunny day. Brian, the Captain very knowlegeable. We saw a few dolphins and 6 Grey whales heading north. Wish there were seats in the bow of the boat. A couple of us have foot problems making it uncomforatble to stand for 2 hours. Otherwise a lovely outing

A Most Enjoyable Morning

We took the early tour, the first of the day. It was already sunny, clear and warm. They didn't over-crowd the boat so everyone could stand near the side. Operators found a pod of three whales right away, and they positioned the boat so that we could all see. Since the whales are migrating, we did not see any actually breach, but we were close enough to see them swim to surface, blow air and submerge, sometimes showing their tail fins. The ocean was not choppy, so there was no risk of sea sickness. When the first group moved on, we went back and observed another group of whales. So there was plenty to see, the day was beautiful, the boat was not too crowded and the operators kept us comfortable. We had a very good time.

Beautiful day to go out. We really didn't see much but realize there are no guarantees. we saw enough to keep us gazing for Dolphins or whales.

Went down & purchased dvd only to find someone selling them on deck

We saw whales and appreciated the captain's sharing of his knowledge about their behavior and their presence just off the Dana Point headlands. It was a lovely experience and I look forward to doing it again.

My Wife and I had a very good time on this Whale watching cruise. We were blessed to see at least 4 sightings of Whales and numerous Dolphins. The Captain and his Crew were very knowledgeable and pleasant, making the boat ride that much more enjoyable.

Thank you again

We saw several groups of common dolphins, grey whales and a humpback whale. What really made this a very good experience was the crew, especially the captain who was very informative about the sightings
