You will see whales, and MORE!

Excellent value. The skipper was a whale "expert" and shared fascinating info through out the trip while safely allowing us to view the beautiful animals as close as possible. As a bonus, we were taken into a "mega pod" of dolphins, which was incredible! The tour was the perfect length, and you can't beat the So. Cal weather. Highly recommended.

Fog, one whale tail, but still fun!

We made a date with the whale watching tour for a wedding party. It ended up getting foggy just as we went out on the ocean....we did see one whale before the fog got too think.

They did give us Whale Vouchers to come back again due to poor whether. We will definitely be back! Still had a lot of fun, good company, including the crew....made the trip memorable.

Thanks!

we did the two hour trip and if you have nice weather like we did this is a phantastic activity. The only reason I didn't give 5***** is because we didn't get to see a whale but that's just nature. In return we got to see lots and lots of dolphins up close. We went on the boat not the cat and the guy below making the burgers and drinks totally rocks. If you're lucky enough to actually see a whale this will make one of the greatest days of your life!

Baby whale show

Captain was reading the path of the whale and her baby and we have been able to follow them without (I hope) any disturbance for the mom and her baby. The baby whale was enjoying to jump out of the water. He did it many times.

Wonderfull!

Worth the trip

I've been on other whale watching cruises and saw only dolphins and sea lions. This cruise was great as two whales were sighted and surfaced several times.

I would recommend anyone wishing to take pictures to have a high speed camera as you will have only seconds to point and shoot. The other option is to have a camcorder where you can catch the whale as it surfaces and clip photos from there.

An overall GREAT trip!

Great ship, great crew and great viewing. A very pleasant two hours exploring the Dana point seas and wildlife. Tuesdays are two for one days but a great bargain on any day. A snack bar with drinks, hot and cold, alcoholic and non completed the adventure.

FUN...but disappointing

It was a great two hours for the price however we didn't get to see any whales. We did get to see dolphins. Since it's not guaranteed to see whales I don't think i'd pay again to chance not seeing whales again. Still had a good time on the boat.

Didn't see whales

I was excited about going out to view any type of whales and unfortunately not one whale to be seen. The captain said he was sorry and the whales must have been in Mexico and haven't made the trip back. What we did see was dolphines in herds swimming very fast and came very close to the boat. But that was it. I was disappointed because I've been wanting to do this a for a very long time.

The captain said he would give us our tickets back if we didn't see any whales, but that didn't happen.
