hotter than heck but the fish were biting. Everysingle fish I caught had to be thrown back because they were 11 inches. Ilove being on the boat out on the ocean even though I did not bring home anything this time. Everyone is helpful.

Evening whale watch tour...saw thousands of dolphins, then TWO Blue Whales. Spent an hour with the whales...saw them up close, and could hear the sound of their blowing...a sound you will never forget...like a call from some prehistoric past. Too beautiful to describe...you have to do it yourself...highly recommend it.

The Dana Point Whale Watching cruise was the best adventure we have experienced in a long while. The captain and crew were outstanding and they knew where to go to see outstanding sea life. Great adventure for everyone.

This was my grandsons (11) first deep sea fishing trip. He, his other grandmother and I had a great time. The crew was very helpful and the captain tried hard to have us fish at a spot where they were biting.

A passenger Rick, he says he uses your company frequently, was especially helpful for us first timers and fun to talk with.

We would definitely consider your company when doing this again.

This was an excellent whale watching expedition. We also saw a hammerhead shark & a Blue Whale! The 11:00-1:00 time frame was comfortable with not too many people on board or at the dock. The Catamaran was very enjoyable, which allowed us to observe the ocean at various spots on the boat. Observing the Blue Whale as it eats & comes up for air was awesome, a sight to remember. The skipper was knowledgeable & helpful in spotting the whale, which made it a successful trip.

The talk by the naturalist was very helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We saw several sightings of blue whale and saw one of them surface repeatedly--it was spectacular! The dolphins were fun as the moms and babies lept out of the water together around the boat. We would do it again!

Saw many dolphin and one huge whale

We were asked to keep our eyes open and yell out if we saw anything. There were many "sharp eyes". We were then taken to the area, and spotted a large number of dolphins. The dolphins entertained us by jumping in and out of the water and swimming along the catamaran. After spending a generous amount of time watching the dolphins, we were taken further out. Someone yelled out "whale" and everyone got excited. We saw a lot of splashing off in the distance, so the skipper sped out there. While I know that there is a schedule to be maintained, the skipper of the boat gave us a good amount of time to observe the action of the whale, and talked to us about baleen whales (which is what we saw). Due to the distance he had to travel to see the whale and the time given to observe it's actions, we returned a few minutes late. It was appreciated that instead of being rigid to time constraints, he allowed us the opportunity to follow the whale for a while, instead of rushing back.

While we were not lucky enough to actually see a whale on our tour, we did happen upon an amazingly large pod of dolphin and were able to photograph them as they played along side the boat. The Captain and crew were knowledgeable and entertaining, making the trip even more enjoyable.

The day was very nice with a medium breeze that made it very comfortable. When we departed the seas were a bit choppy and as we went further out it became stronger. One of the children of a larger group was on the bow and threw up his breakfast. Bad enough but the crew after some time came forward briefly looked at it and then proceeded to throw a small bar towel over it . This did not cover the mess and for the next hour and a half everyone was forced to observe this and worse yet smell it. This ruined the entire cruise for many and made many of the passengers get very queezy. I would suggest that perhaps your company should invest in a bucket to clean up such accidents or at least inform your customers what they should do if they start to feel badly. This was absolutely the worst sailing experience I have had and I would not recommend your trip to anyone

Though we didn't see any whales we ran into hundreds of dolphins which were quite amusing to ride along side of. Weather and the sunset were awesome, and boat provided everything we needed with plenty of space to walk around. Quite a wonderful late afternoon journey. Great way to get away. Kids (and infant) loved it.

My group from Utah had a wonderful time and made some great memories. The fishing was great and the only negative comment was that the kids didn't see any dolphins. Otherwise everyone was very satisfied!!
