This was well worth the time and money. Kay was very informative and each of the establishments were very welcoming and presented very good selections and drinks. We had things that we normally woudl not have tried like salmon pizza but were glad we had the chance to try them.

Our walking host, Kay did a wonderful job, sharing her knowledge of Palm desert, while allowing us time to get to know the other members on our tour. Favourite stop was Wolfgang Puck's as we sampled 3 different dishes.....all DELICIOUS ! Least favourite was sampling the somewhat dry coffee cake at Wilma and Frieda's, although I thoroughly enjoyed the robust cup of coffee provided there......sampling a couple of different wines at two of the venues also added to a very pleasant experience. The cost of the tour is a bit expensive, especially if one is coming from Canada, with the current exchange rate.

Lacking value for the money

Host was very good but $62 US per person was just too much. It was supposed to be the equivalent of a lunch and it was more like an appetizer. There is better value in actual lunch at one of the high end restraunts or 5 or 6 happy hours.

Food was great as was the very informative guide. Learned much about Palm Desert History. It was great to visit various restaurants to try out their food and to find out what they offered. I would certainly go back to the restaurants on our return trip. Our group enjoyed the tour.
