Come enjoy a splashing good time on-board an amphibious vehicle!

DivaDuck Amphibious Tours was founded in 2002, when owner and founder, Judy, was traveling in Maine. She was so inspired by the fun and uniqueness of a boat that's also a bus, that she brought it to sunny West Palm Beach! As a retired opera singer, Judy brought her talent to the tours - from the company name to the tour guides who entertain you along the way!

The DivaDuck is 39 feet long and 8 feet wide and can seat 49 passengers and 2 crew members. The powerful motor can perform both on the water and on land,  using a Caterpillar Diesel Engine! On land, DivaDuck can reach amazing speeds of 70 mph (our tours run at slower speeds, of course) and on the water, the DivaDuck can travel at 6 knots!

Let us show you the beauty of West Palm Beach on board our unique, exciting vehicle!

Shortened duck ride

It was enjoyable. The narrator was great.

However, the website and brochure said the ride was 75 minutes but we were back and parked within 60 minutes. I mentioned it to the narrator and driver and was told that sometimes it's shorter. I can understand 5 minutes but 15 !! I felt cheated.

Fun but a little uncomfortable

My mother and sisters and I took the tour and enjoyed it. The driver was friendly and the tour guide was great. However, the vehicle was hot and noisy. The seats were quite cramped, spaced close together as if to squeeze more passengers in. All in all, the tour was entertaining but could have been more enjoyable with roomier seating.

DivaDuck Amphibious Tours responded:
Thank you for taking our tour! The seats are the same size as a city bus although ours are cushioned with two seats on each side of the aisle. Our passenger count is regulated by the USCG, 49 maximum, which must include infants. Sometimes when the temperature is in the 90's, the bus seems more cramped...thank you again and we are so happy you enjoyed the tour.

The Tour Guide Makes the Tour

It turns out Palm Beach/West Palm Beach doesn't have a lot of interesting landmarks to see. So, as with many city tours, it is the tour guide, their humor and area knowledge that make the trip enjoyable. Zack was great. He is transferring to college up north in the fall, so book now. Captain Bob was also good, expertly getting us down some narrow streets. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the boat part of the tour tops out at 3 knots (3.45mph).

As a local learned thing about WPB I was not aware of. My group enjoyed the tour specifically the kids going from "land ro sea". My wife and I have been on a Duck Tour before in Seattle, as I understand now closed. That was fun as well. Would liked to covered more on the land side. Guide Zack was entertaining.
