Great Walking Tour of San Francisco

We truly enjoyed our walking tour of San Francisco neighborhoods. Our kids are ages 12 and 9, the tour was perfect for them. We made plenty of stops, talked about the history and had a bunch of funs answering questions with chocolate as our reward! We strongly recommend this tour for families and large groups. Our guide was very interesting and kept us well informed and entertained.

Awkward stroll through streets

Maybe because it was only two of us, but it's designed for a bigger group with the little trivia games played along the way for chocolate rewards but the humor fell a little flat. Guide was nice but seemed lacking in much knowledge past the script he carried with photos of persons of interest he discussed along the way. We learned a lot of interesting history however and if you like a personal touch to your touring you may enjoy this venue. Just know it's not a hysterically funny tour - just an avg ho hum walk about town

A good way to get to know a few of the essential neighborhoods in SF. Packed with fun facts and our guide had a great sense of humor, which made the tour that much more fun. It was nice to have an interactive educational experience...great to be able to ask questions and have a dialogue (vs being on a guided tour where one only listens and is talked AT).

Nice tour of San Francisco

The knowledgable guide leads you through 3 different neighbourhoods in San Francisco without too much of walking considering the 3 hours the tour takes. It helps to understand history better and to see the area differently. The guide also offers help to find a good restaurant and how to get around. Suggest to anyone to take the tour at the beginning of a stay in the city to make the most of the visit.

Excellent fun tour

This tour was fun and informative. It went over a lot of detail and most of the city. Our guide was funny and broke the ice. It was me and my date and we had a great time laughing. It was nice because it was just the 2 of us, and the tour guide even asked us if we wanted to stop to sit and have a coffee. The tour guide knew a lot of facts and even gave us Trivia questions and chocolate if we got the answer right.

Our guide, Kurt was great. A good overview of that part of SF. I'd recommend two changes: 1. start at 930 so it ends at a more reasonable lunch time 2. at the end, be helpful if he recommended places to eat.

We had only 5 on our tour and 3 or us from Union Sq....so we climbed up to the top of he hill...only to walk back down....maybe a way to fine tune the stsrting point???? you knew where we were staying.....

and his recommendation for House of Nanking for dinner was right on, plus the elevator from St. Mary's Sq. to Chinatown.......who knew?

Lack luster tour guide. Not the fun promoted

Not sure if the guide had had a hard night before, but he was somewhat boring and prone to memory lapses. I don't consider acting out roles to be fun - my expectation was that the guide provided the fun - through commentary content and delivery.
