The highlight of our tour was by far our tour guide who made the experience FUN as

well as interesting. I have taken this tour before and were treating two other family members. It was even better than before thanks to the tour guide. I tried to sign up for another tour with her but was disappointed to find I couldn't be guaranteed who the tour guide would be. It was GREAT!

This was our second food tour. Did Greenwich Village on our last visit and enjoyed it so much we were determined to try a different tour this year and brought along five friends. Everyone thanked us for our recommendation. The tour guide was great and the food was fantastic. Plenty for lunch. Hope to do the other Greenwich Village tour on our next NYC visit. Thanks for providing such an interesting, informative and tasty tourist attraction.

Fabulous tour

I have to admit I was sceptical of a "tour" when my wife suggested it and especially of the "meatpacking district" that I remembered as an area that you didn't even drive thru in the old days and now to do a walking tour was incomprehensible especially when rain was predicted!!! Wow was I wrong.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip (except for seeing "Memphis"!!) The guide was full of personality and just plain fun . We got a great history lesson of the area and the "samples" of the food places was incredible in addition to going thru some fabulous restaurants. Toward the end I was hoping that she would not stop at another food place as I was so full of fabulous foods from all over the country. This is a tour for all ages above 21. We will certainly do this type of tour from your company next time we are in town. Thanks so much for the professionalism and great guidance.

We loved our guide, Curt. He was fun and funny. The food was great! I learned and became familiar with this area and more than I expected. This is fun for all.

Interesting, informative, and tasty

This was a delightful tour. My tour enjoyed learning about the history of the building and this entire area of NYC which we had never visited before on previous visits. The tasting part of the tour was delightful as well. The "famous" bisquits that we tasted at Sarabeth's were the only part of the tour that was disappointing. We're from the South, and we know our bisquits. These were NOT good bisquits. The lobster bisque from The Lobster Place was outstanding, however, and our tour guide, Darrell, was worth the price of the tour.

Our guide, Diana, was awesome! She is full of historic facts and makes it fun to hear about the origins of the Chelsea Market building. She always had us laughing! It seems she enjoys the tour as much as we all did!

Lots of great food, great vendors, and fun! Would definitely recommend it!

Perfect Way to Spend My Birthday

I spent my 61st birthday on a tour with Darren (guide) and my son, who lives in NYC.

We had great fun. Darren was knowledgeable, considerate, personable and efficient.

I enjoyed learning about the rich history of the area as well as the background of its present day tenants. We very much enjoyed the frequent samples and tastings as well as the special attention they gave my special dietary restrictions. I am looking forward to going on another food tour when I am back in the city again, hopefully this spring.

Keep up the good work!!

The BEST Walking Tour Ever
Fri, Nov 6, 09   11:00 AM mpcling Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
The Chelsea Mkt / Meatpacking District Food Tasting Tour was awesome! We have been on walking tours in cities all over the world, but this was our first tasting tour. I thought that we would have small samples of different kinds of food but what we got were big tasty helpings. The Chelsea Market also has an amazing history and has even more amazing art installations. We learned so much about the building that we never would have known if we had visited on our own. (Including who some of the upstairs tenants are. I especially love the elevators!)

Our guide was great. She answered any and all questions, she paced the walk well and was able to relate to a range of ages from teenagers to seniors.

In conclusion, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to all my friends and to anyone who wants an informational as well as delicious New York experience!

Really interesting tour

Chelsea Market tour was really delicious - both in content and samplings. Lots of esoteric information about the area and the building, and the vendors in the building. We ended up patronizing some of them in other areas of the City.
