Great tour

We really enjoyed our tour! Our guide Cindy was very funny, keeping an accurate head count, passing out water, and making sure that we were comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the area and appeared to really enjoy sharing information about her neighborhood. We plan on returning to the Meatpacking district and are considering taking other tours.

Hands down best tour we've ever taken - anywhere!

We've been to NYC numerous times and taken the standard local tours. This puts those to shame. I Would highly recommend it, particularly for those, like us, who have a general knowledge of New York City, but who wish to "drill down" to find the real NY - and who have a love of great food!

Thanks to Bob, our tour guide! He was full of local info and was able to answer a multitude of questions. The food tasting was an adventure. We will definitely return to the market area on our next NYC trip.

My wife & I found this tour very entertaining and educational. Although lifelong New Yorkers we were unfamiliar with the Chelsea area and in particular, the Chelsea Market. The tour guide (Bob) was genuinely a nice person and showed a great expertise of the history of the area. The food stops were all excellent and diverse. All and all a great afternoon.

The food was ok, I was expecting something wonderful from the Italien deli, not just lunch meat. Maybe more sampling of the items that are imported.

The history of the market and the meat packing district was wonderful. Bob was

very knowledgeable, funny and certainly has a passion for his work. We

appreciated him a great deal.

We were a group of ladies on a Culinary Tour to New York........The range of foods and restaurants, along with the cultural highlights of the tour were perfect! It was a nice change from our regular itinerary of cooking classes! A Taste For Travel, LLC, Portland Oregon

The Chelsea Market is fascinating in a lot of ways and Cindy really let us know what they were. The food was fabulous and more than enough for lunch. The history was terrific, too. And Cindy herself was a lot of fun. A great choice for a rainy day, since most of the walk was indoors.

The tour was very informative, interesting and fun. The foods we tasted were delicious. Our guide Darrell was exceptional and very efficient, too. The only complaint is that there was much too much food! And it was so good we couldn't say no.

We visited a couple of restaurants that were not open for business, and were so impressed that decided to have dinner later in one of them, Morimoto--thank you for that! We also stopped for a drink at another, Son Cubano. And as a New Yorker who had never been to Chelsea Market, I am placing it on my list of things to do again and again. The out -of-towners in our group were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tour.

Good job!!!
