Great morning in New York

What a wonderful way to spend about three hours in New York! This tour was both informative and enjoyable as well as providing a very interesting assortment of foods. I would recommend this to anyone except those with young children. My next trip will definitely include another tour of a different area.

A Tasty View of Chelsea

The guide was very informative and fun. The food was superb and well presented. It was a small enough group so that everyone could see and hear and get individual attention. The choice of places to visit was well thought out and gave us a wonderful picture of the market and meat packing area of NYC. I would do it again or try a similar one in another part of the city. Starting out with a delicious cookie from Eleni''s and ending with a dish of pasta from Macelleria left us full and hoping to come back soon. thank you.

Wow, an excellent insiders view of a very Hot area. An abundance of historical info as well as some great yummy tastings. Loved the "High Line". I would have liked a little more time outside in the meat packing dist itself. Wonderful guide!!

Another Great Food Tour

This was our third Food Tour, our first at Chelsea Market. Cindy was a wonderful guide, extremely knowledgable about the area and its history. She was also very personable, interacted well with all the tour members and the businesses we visited. Her manner, knowledge, and sense of humor made for a great tour. Most of this food tour was inside the Chelsea Market but we did tour the neighborhood for the last hour or so, on a really fantastic spring day.

I would recommend this tour to anyone, particularly those interested in the history of New York City, its people, its food. We learn new things on each tour, never come away hungry, and always enjoy the diverse samplings. Did you know that the Food Network films on one of the upper floors of the Chelsea Market? We didn't and now we do.

This tour was very easy to travel to, just off the West Side Drive. The parking mentioned in the directions on the e-ticket was very handy and inexpensive for NYC.

We loved it and will continue to experience all the Food Tours.

Good, but not enough volume

The walking tour was enjoyable, especially the Nabisco building and hearing the history of how the individual places started. However, there were many times that, unless you were right next to Bob, you could not hear him. Outside, it was hard to hear --- bits and pieces of conversation.

The edible items like the soups and cheese and crackers were tasty while the timing of the sweet stuff were at the beginning and the pasta was at the end. Some of my group did not care to find out that they had oxtail pasta, when a locally popular, novel tasty Italian dish would have been more suitable. Bob was enthusiastic and well informed and answered our questions. In summary, The selected items need a tweeking and a system to amplify his voice would be very beneficial to hear his narration.

It's got potential. Maybe the cheese and crackers could be picnicked on the elevated traintrack park? Red checkerd table cloth and all.

P.S. Maybe Tour Tags for our lapels. Non-group people would step in to listen and did not know it was a tour. It would make good advertizing too for future tour participants!

Thank you,

Judy S.

It was a first class tour. The guide was so informative and

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend this company. The tour guide was charming and funny and seemed to truly enjoy introducing people to new foods and places. We were surprised at the number of tastings as well as the size of the tastings. To say you will not need to eat lunch afterwards is an understatement - we were absolutely stuffed! We had a great time!
