Good, but not enough volume

The walking tour was enjoyable, especially the Nabisco building and hearing the history of how the individual places started. However, there were many times that, unless you were right next to Bob, you could not hear him. Outside, it was hard to hear --- bits and pieces of conversation.

The edible items like the soups and cheese and crackers were tasty while the timing of the sweet stuff were at the beginning and the pasta was at the end. Some of my group did not care to find out that they had oxtail pasta, when a locally popular, novel tasty Italian dish would have been more suitable. Bob was enthusiastic and well informed and answered our questions. In summary, The selected items need a tweeking and a system to amplify his voice would be very beneficial to hear his narration.

It's got potential. Maybe the cheese and crackers could be picnicked on the elevated traintrack park? Red checkerd table cloth and all.

P.S. Maybe Tour Tags for our lapels. Non-group people would step in to listen and did not know it was a tour. It would make good advertizing too for future tour participants!

Thank you,

Judy S.

The Chelsea Market tour is definitely worth your time in NYC.

It was a first class tour. The guide was so informative and

entertaining. And, of course, the food tasted was excellent!

When I'm in NYC again, I will definitiely take other tours the

company offers.

It was a great experience in NY! The guide was great, the food samples wonderful, and the historical info interesting! Loved the Highline walk. Wish I hadn't eaten breakfast! Definitely plan to do another one when I come back to NY!

One of the highlights of our trip to NYC

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend this company. The tour guide was charming and funny and seemed to truly enjoy introducing people to new foods and places. We were surprised at the number of tastings as well as the size of the tastings. To say you will not need to eat lunch afterwards is an understatement - we were absolutely stuffed! We had a great time!

The tour leader, Bob, was knowledgeable, interesting and delightful. Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District was fascinating with the tastings, history and walking tour. We highly recommend this to anyone. We are looking forward to booking another tour.

Missed half of it

Daryl led the group. After going through Chelsea Market, on the way to the meatpacking area, my wife and I somehow got separated from the group. Daryl did not do much checking to see if people were in the group. Six months ago, we were on the Greenwich Village tour with Kirk, and also the Central Greenwich/Soho tour with Barrie. Both of them constantly checked to make sure everyone was there. Daryl did not do that. Otherwise, he would have seen we were not there and looked for us. We were not far behind.

I suggest that the places that are visited be numbered in order in the brochure given to us. If that had been done, we could have gone to the next place to join the group. The names and addresses are all listed, but not in order.

exclusive, very educational and informative

a broad education in the history surrounding the changes in the meatpacking district and cultural, social and economic impact on the City. A clearly informative narrative paints a vivid and descriptive view of the transformation of the Chelsea Market into what it is today; tastings and sampling of foods add authentic flavor to the experience.Great fun for young and old.
