Fact-filled, fun and fabulous food!

Our guide, Curt, was adorable. He made all the information that he was dispensing interesting and intriguing. I'm sure he's said everything hundred of times, but he always made it sound fresh. It was clear that the various shops knew him and liked him. We ate WAY too much, but felt like we got a great overview of the area and off tits history. I would recommend this tour to anyone, "foodie" or not.

Interesting and fun filled tour

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Chelsea Market and surrounding area tour.

We are fairly frequent visitors to New York and are always looking for something different to do, since we've obviously covered the usual tourist destinations. Although we've been to Chelsea before, we probably wouldn't have discovered the Martket on our own or it wouldn't have been as interesting (or tasty) without doing the Tour.

We learned many intersting things and had wonderful, and varied, things to eat. Our tour guide, Daryl, was fabulous. Very professional with his facts and figures, but also fun and entertaining.

All in all, a winner!

I very much enjoyed the food tour. The guide was very fun. The food was wonderful but certainly stop for breakfast before if an early tour. I really enjoyed visiting a brownstone home. I always wondered what they were like inside.

I participated in this tour with three friends and we were all delighted with the afternoon. Curt, our tour guide was exceptional and we would love to take another tour with him, perhaps the Greenwich Village tour. The tastings were more than plentiful and very tasty. The background information and history was very interesting and the overall day was one we would all recommend to anyone.

We've done walking tours abroad - this was one of the best! Cindy was well prepared, knowledgeable, and adaptable. We loved all of the areas visited and tastes along the way. We will certainly recommend the tour and consider doing it again when we return.

We were a group of five adults who live in Queens, New York and decided we wanted to enjoy our City as tourists.

We had a really fun day and to see the changes in the area was unbelievable. Our tour guide Cindy was very informative and the sampling of the food was plentiful. All in all we had a very pleasant afternoon.

Would recommend it to all.

Chelsea Market Tour a Delicious Afternoon

From the first moment Kurt began our tour we knew we were in for an afternoon of fun. Little did we know just how delightful, informative, delicious, and entertaining it would be! Each tasting was more wonderful than the previous one; it would be impossible to pick a favorite. The history of the entire Chelsea and Meatpacking area was very interesting, and Kurt made it amusing as well. We highly recommended the tour to the others in our group and we will definitely return when we visit New York again.

Superb experience

My husband and I loved the tour -- he liked the historical references as to the history of the building (being a train buff). It was great to see an abandoned building restored to accommodate family owned business. The food was a real treat and Curt, our guide, was knowledgeable, humorous and considerate. It was a great way to learn about the neighborhood as well.
