We enjoyed learning the history of the Chelsea Market bldg, as well as the surrounding areas. And the tastings were yummy!! Totally worth the price of the tour.

I really enjoyed this tour. Its an area of NY I wasn't familiar with and I learned a lot about it. The tour guide knew so much about NYC! The food was all delicious as well. We had a great time.

I will recommend it to all our friends heading to New York. Our tour guide Kurt was great. We really enjoyed adventure through Chelsea Market.

I was wondering if you might help me get in touch with Kurt. I left the tour a little early because of my son needing to use the bathroom. Because it was urgent I forgot to tell the rest of the members of my family to leave Kurt a tip. I tried to finding later but failed and of course I was upset at the adults in my family for not thinking about tipping themselves. If you can get me an adress his company, I can send a check.

Thank you,

Evette Allerdings

My daughter and I were originally from New York. She now lives in Wisconsin while I live in Illinois. My daughter, who had taken the Chelsea Market and Greenwich Village tours, and I, who also had done the Greenwich Village tour seven years ago, really enjoyed the Chelsea Market Tour, It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot and of course the food was very good. Our guide, Curt, was great and funny. He certainly did much to make the tour so enjoyable. I must state that the tour worked very well for me - I am 81 and must use a walker and I had no problem.

My only negative was that I could not order our tickets on-line for some reason and had to telephone. However, the young man that I spoke to was very helpful.

I would highly recomend this tour to anyone who would like to learn about the area, to have some fun and have some tasty food.

Wow, an excellent insiders view of a very Hot area. An abundance of historical info as well as some great yummy tastings. Loved the "High Line". I would have liked a little more time outside in the meat packing dist itself. Wonderful guide!!

I recently visited NYC for the first time and decided to take the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District tour as a supplement to another city tour I had done the day before. My tour was lead by Diana who was lots of fun had great information and kept us right on schedule. The history of the Market and Meat Packing area was amazing (if you stick close to Diana you can even ask extra questions as you move from tasting to tasting). There was actually more food than I could even eat - all the portions were generous and we ended up sitting down in a fun restaraunt having fabulous oxtail ragu over homemade pasta. What a great way to become familiar with the area and local cuisine. I am planning a trip back to NYC in November and will definately take one of the other FoodTours tastings in another area of the city.

From the begining to the end, a tour that is well organized! From the tastings to the history it was GREAT! Our guide Dianana was very good! She knew the history of everything and had an answer to all questions that were asked. She was able to take us behind the scenes of several business and get a true feel and understanding of each place we visited A+!

We highly recommend this tour!

P.S. Don't be affraid to try what you can't get at home it's all GOOD!

I highly recommend the olive oil gelato!

When the tour is over go back and shop!

We had A BLAST!!!

We'd highly recommend the Food Tour of Chelsea/Meatpacking District. Great stops along the way... delicious (and ample!) food... interesting sites... and if you're lucky enough to get Curt as your guide, it'll be a guaranteed highlight of your trip to the Big Apple.
