This is my second Foods of NY Tour (first was Greenwich Village). I loved the first, and enjoyed this one just as much! Fun for all ages. More than just good food (which is exceptional), a true look into the businesses in the area. I can't wait to try another tour!

My daughters and I were in New York at Christmas time on a Girls' Weekend. A friend had recommended taking a food tour of the city and it seemed like something different to do. Taking her advice, we booked the tour with Zerve and it ended up being one of the highlights of our weekend. Our guide, Curt, was absolutely wonderful and ...... hysterical (we laughed our way through the 3 hour tour). It was obvious that he had put a lot of work and effort into providing us with an enjoyable and informative tour -- above and beyond anything I expected. The food tastings were diverse and very good. I would highly recommend taking the Chelsea/Meatpacking District 's food tour. It's a great way to experience an interesting part of New York City.

Guide (Darrell) made the day especially enjoyable. Catch him before his acting career takes off!

Interesting history and excellent tastings. Perfectly suited for our group of eight, since one gent is somewhat limited in how much walking he can do.

We met Cindy and she was wonderful ! We started on time at the Chelsea Market and learned about the building and history of nebisco as well as the meat packing industry. Cindy was brilliant , keeping us interested, answering our questions and providing us with Six different samples from food places inside. Then after a short stroll outside the Meat packing area we ended up at an extremely popular upscale Italian Restaurant for a homemade pasta dish that was delicious. We sampled chocolate milk, bisquets and jam, red velvet cupcakes, new England clam chowder, lobster bisque , Australian meat pie and an Italian pic mic of fresh mortadella and prosciutto served with rolls, artichoke dip, olives and cheese and marinated onions!!!! Plenty of food! These tours are all fantastic.

We all had such a great time on this tour! I've never been on their tour before and always keep my expectations low for any type of guided tour, but this was fantastic! I'd like to give extra stars for our guide Kurt. He memorized everyone's names immediately which is impressive in our group of 15. Kurt is an entertainer and made sure we were all having fun as well as learning about the history of the area. The food was fantastic of course. I would definitely recommend this trip for everyone.
