We had a fabulous tour with Kurt or the Chelsea Market Tour. The food was great. I definitely will go back to many of the places we sampled and will bring a cooler along with an empty belly for lunch and dinner. Kurt, our tour guide, was great. He was humerus and knowledgeable. I'd love to have him a again as a guide for other tours. This tour is a must.

HIGHLY recommend this tour. The only negative was that we did it on a Saturday and it was VERY crowded, other than that, it was worth every penny and better than we expected. Darrell was fantastic as our tour guide. We sampled a lot more than I thought we would and everything was fantastic. We are now looking at other food tours to do next time we are in the city.

This is my second time taking a Foods of New York tour, and the experience this time was just as fabulous as it was the first time when I took the original Greenwich Village tour. The food tastings were delicious, particularly the crostada, the meat pie, and the warm fresh doughnuts, and the tour guide Curt was both entertaining and very informative. I think the food tours are a great and inexpensive way to sample many of New York's culinary offerings. I'll definitely be back for another tour soon.

My husband and I had a great time learning about the history of the Meatpacking District of yesteryear in NYC and one man's vision to develop the Chelsea Market. Our guide, Bob, was the best - very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, with a great sense of humor. There were a variety of food samplings of generous proportions and all were very tasty. We did not walk away hungry. I highly recommend this tour to those who like to learn about the culture and history of our nation.

Our tour guide, Cindy, was both knowledgeable and entertaining! We enjoyed all the food samples and the information she gave us about Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. We certainly did not need a meal after sampling all the good food on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour and hope to experience one of the other food tours on my next visit.

last year we did the original Greenwich village tour and loved it on Veterans Day, liked being outside and it was lovely out that day nor was it crowded. We went on Monday which was Columbus Day and Chelsea Market was packed. Bob, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area. But there was way too much food (can't believe I am saying that!) After the second stop with the fritatta or quiche, which was extremely filling, we then went a few doors down and had cheese, a piece of panini and a tuck, like a beef pot pie. That was just the beginning of the afternoon. But we loved the tour and the food although I started just taking one bit and also love the highline and planning on going back.

This was our second Chelsea tour and it was even better than the first experience. My wife and I credit our guide, Curt Upton, for being the main reason behind this fun experience. From the moment that Curt introduced himself, we could tell that this was going to be both a fun and a funny 3 hours. Curt's knowledge of the area was encyclopedic and he was delightfully witty. Anyone can walk through the Chelsea Food Court on his own but he would miss out on all the little gems that come with the personal touch provided by an expert guide.
