This is my second tour of Chelsea Market. What a fun time. Curt is a blast and I would highly recommend him. YES, he does talk almost the entire time. But, knowledgeable conversation. I can't wait to do another tour with him.

Darrel was fantastic and a true asset to your team. He made the tour for us - his knowledge, enthusiasm and great management of the group are all to be commended. This was our sort of tour - some walking, some eating, some drinking and some local knowledge - doesn't get any better than that. We picked this tour over some other cheaper options we had available, based on great reviews - and we weren't disappointed it - well worth it - and we will now be recommending it for other Australians who are travelling.

Darryl made the tour and over the top experience

The Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District tour is one that I highly recommend. There were children in our group, but that did not take away from the tour or the experience. The number of stops was appropriate, and we were surprised at how many stops there were! The stops selected provided both some variety, and seemed to be the higher quality of food items along the tour route.

We were a group of two m/f couples and were very pleased with the over all experience.

we did not feel rushed, but were happy that the pace was brisk and the action really never lulled.

Darryl was our guide, and really provide a ton of information about the market, it's history, and the area that we never knew. Before taking the tour, I was advised to stay away from the area south of 20th, and I am thankful that we did not listen to the advise.

We plan to tour some of the other areas of NYC using your company in the future.

Thank you for adding such a great experience to our Memorial Weekend in NYC.

We had an absolute ball! Our guide Curt was a no brainer. He made it all happen. This was the highlight of our stay in New York. Only one criticism - too much food. Skip breakfast before you go.

Highly recommend!!!

GREAT WAY TO SPEND 3 HOURS!

We were a group of seven, multi-generational family members. Some of us had previously taken Foods of New York Tours and wanted the rest of the group to experience it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Chelsea Market and our tour guide, Darrell, was exceptional. Having been on 6 previous FNY tours, I can say that Darrell was the best tour guide yet (and they are ALL fantastic!) The food tastings were excellent and they accommodated the one vegetarian in our group very nicely. Being introduced to the High Line park as part of the tour was a nice bonus! All in all, the three hours went by quickly and the tour was enjoyed by all. Don't miss it!!!

Foods of NY Tours is absolutely the greatest! I have now taken four of their tours - two of them two or more times! You, as a tourist, could never appreciate Chelsea Market just sightseeing on your own. The Foods of NY Tours is the ONLY tour company that is allowed to take tour groups into Chelsea Market - the reason - well there are several: 1. The group is held to a maximum of 15 so as not to interfere with businesses, their guests and their employees, and 2. the tour guides are very well trained on the history of Chelsea Market and the companies that call Chelsea Market their home. I have had two different tour guides, Cindy and Robin and both were equally good. They both inserted their own personalty in the tour and knew the history of the market and the facts on the stores that reside within the Market. The food tastings are great and the market itself is amazing. I love the owner left as much of the integrity of the market as was possible. What a piece of history!

This was the first time I have attended a food tour. I believe the bar has been set very high. Our tour guide was Curt - and he was awesome! Fun, entertaining and informative. What a great way to see and learn about Chelsea market as you sample food along the way. Warning: come hungry.... samples are generous - we left very full. It was a wonderful experience.

This is a must do tour! The tours...I have also done the tour of Greenwich Village..are a great way to learn about the various areas of NYC, the history and the food. Kurt was our tour guide and he was funny and informative at the same time. I hightly recommend any of the food tours.
