Tastings in Chelsea Market were quality food items in ample portions. Running commentary was interesting and enjoyable.

What better way to get to know the city than a walking tour...and with great food to top it all off. Todd was extremely friendly, the tour was very informative and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the food. I highly recommend the tour and we will definitely try one of the other tours next time we're back in NYC.

Great, Great, Great....I can repeat this word through out this page and it still will not be enough to describe our day. I will recommend this to everyone. I will return for more.

Kurt, our guide, is the a master at what he does and I wish him the best...his name in lights! Food tasting is enhanced by all of Kurt's knowledge and comments and humor.

This is an education besides a sampling ... a tease to come back for more. I will definitely book another tour and now have a great idea for a gift for family and friends.

Our guide Kurt? was fabulous - my husband and I are considering the Greenvich Village tour in the Spring. Also, when the high line is complete, be sure to design a tour of that too.

Thank you very much!

Our guide, Kurt (hope I spelled his name right!), was incredible! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it, if Kurt were the guide! He made the entire afternoon both informative and entertaining. We almost scrapped our plans for later and took the tour of Greenwich with him. Thanks again for such a great time.

This tour was so much fun! Our guide Curt kept us laughing and eating. Within 5 minutes, he had all of our names memorized...and there were about 15 on the tour. You can tell he really enjoys doing this tour. The food was wonderful...little tastes here & there. The chocolate croissants and coffee milk were wonderful, as were the lobster chowder, gelato, sun-dried tomato pesto, sausage, & cheese. I wasn't that excited about the meat packing area portion of the tour, except for peeking into Mario Battali's Del Posto and into Iron Chef Morimoto's new restaurant. Of course, by that time I was tired, having been up since about 4 a.m. that morning. My only regret was that we didn't take this tour earlier in our trip...like the second day, because we were leaving the next morning. Next time, we'll take a tasting tour early in our trip, so that we can come back & try some of the restaurants and spend more time in Chelsea Market.

I took my mother with me on a tour of Chelsea Market. Our tour guide, Daryl, was really fantastic! We were both very impressed with the history and the food. We thought Daryl was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and very genuine. We were happy to have him as our guide.

Our favorite part were the chocolate croissants from the bakery. Everything tasted great. Also, we were able to go on top of a hotel and get a tremendous view of Manhattan.

My mother is from Brooklyn and she was absolutely thrilled to really learn more about New York.

Thanks again to Daryl!

The Chelsea Market/Meat Packing Tour was the hit of our "Sisters" weekend in NYC. Our guide, Kirk, was not only VERY informativeand knowledgeable, but friendly and quite funny. All of the food and vendors were amazing. The 3 hour tour went by so quickly and we all wanted MORE. I have already highly recommended the tour to several friends who are planning a NYC trip as well to my daughter and her friends who frequent NYC. I plan to take the Greenwich tour when I visit again. AND I will return to the Chelsea Market and the surrounding neighborhood area again now because of having taken the tour.

Informative, but the food was not what I expected.

I expected the food to be different to include more meal like samples instead of cheese, meats, and a lot of sweets. I did not expect so much sweet. Had I known that I would have chosen a different tour. The tour guide was very nice and informative.

We totally enjoyed our tour and learned so much about the Chelsea/Meatpacking Area from our entertaining guide, Kurt. His witty reparte and knowledge of the area made for a very enjoyable time. We went on the Greenwich Village Tour a few years ago with Todd, and thoroughly enjoyed that one too! This one had more food to be sampled, however. We were full of food and facts by the end of the tour. Our favorites were the chocolate croissants from the French Oven. I even dreamed about them the night after the tour!! I would recommend either tour to anyone who visits NYC. It is SO worth the money and time!
