a really fun way to spend a few hours in a district you would probably struggle to navigate around. Very good value for money and you need to go hungry!! Would recommend to anyone who is interested in getting under the veneer of a district.

We really enjoyed our Chinatown Food Tour with Burt. He was very knowledgeable about both food and Chinatown, and kept us entertained despite a steady downpour of rain. The food selections were excellent and diverse, and we got a good historical perspective on the area. Highly recommended.

The host was energetic, friendly and informed. The food for the most part was good and well chosen. The dim sum place and Malaysian place were excellent. The Peking Duck place while renowned and much praised gave us small pieces of duck in a tortilla type of roll which is not Chinese in culture and hid the taste of the duck. The walk was very good and enjoyable to hear from Rahim. He was courteous and gracious.

We really enjoyed Rahim. He was informative, warm, funny and genuine. The dim sum restaurant was our favorite. We got a chance to sample 6 different dim sum and dumplings. All were delicious. The Peking duck house was a little disappointing because we only got one course of the duck. Our least favorite was the Malaysian restaurant. We were supposed to go for dessert, but the dessert restaurant was not open.

We have taken several food tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I would have given the tour 5 stars, but it was a little pricey for the food.

This was an excellent tour - our guide was extremely knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Chinatown. Importantly to me, he was also very enthusiastic about it, which made coming out on a rainy day well worth it. Money well spent!

Bert was very knowledgeable, having lived in Chinatown for several yrs. He was enthusiastic and seemed to have good rapport with the shop owners. Food was very good and mire than enough.

My friend and I have taken 2 other eating tours with Foods of NY before but I think this one was the best so far. The portions were sizable and satisfying. The food tasted amazing( especially the Peking Duck) and our guide Bert was full of historical and gastronomical facts. He clearly loves food and NY. Great day.

Recently, our family joined the Chinatown walking food tour -- what fun! We ate at 3 completely different restaurants. The settings were unique -- and the food was delicious. Bert was our guide -- and he was knowledgeable & caring that each individual in the group had a positive experience. Thanks for sharing Chinatown with us!
