fun to try new foods, learn their history and find places you would want to return to at another time. Rahim was a very knowledgable and enthusiastic guide.

The tour leader, Rahim, was full of interesting information and was so pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent. we even went home with 3 duck carcasses from the Peking Duck restaurant, which was amazing. I made a great duck broth and pho with it. Would definitely recommend this tour to other folks.

I wnet on this tour with two girlfriends. We had a ball. Raheem was a terrific guide - just the right mix of professional and knowledgeable with fun and personal. He knows loads about Chinatown and its restaurants and kept inserting extra little stories into the mix. He managed to move us along and keep us just about on time without seeming like rushing. All in all it was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. I would thoroughly recommend it an I intend to go on more tours with Raheem.

Raheem was out tour guide and he really made the tour exceptional. Warm, funny and extremely knowledgeable about both the history of a China Town and the food. This tour was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back to do other tours with the same company based on this one. Delicious Chinese food, great value and a terrific way to learn about this fascinating part of New York. A+++

Raheem is a terrific guide...and I'm desperately jealous that we don't have a dim sum place as good as Dim Sum Go Go near us. Great tour, good walk, a lot of tasty food!

Fabulous food, wonderful guide

We met Bert at the dim sum restaurant. He guided us through the meals and the streets of Chinatown, taking us into places we never would have found (or entered) on our own, and telling us the history of Chinatown. It was obvious that he both knew and loved the area, the people, the culture, and especially the food. We enjoyed delicious dim sum (I went back the next day with friends to eat there again), superbly prepared and presented peking duck, a marvelous Malaysian dish (I lived in Malaysia many years ago and can attest to the authenticity of the food there), and even a delicious dessert (Asian sweets are not generally acceptable to American palates). I liked the filling, but the crust was absolutely to die for. Believe me, you WILL get enough to eat on this tour! We also visited a tea and Chinese medicine store -- we got food for the stomach and food for the soul. Thank you, Bert, for being such an excellent guide!

Chinatown Tour a Good Decision

While I don't usually bother to contribute reviews, this tour was exceptionally worthwhile. The food was very good and of sufficient quantity, Raheem's commentary entertaining and informative, the walking was easy, and the seated dining was comfortable.
