This experience couldn't have been better. Rahim was enthusiastic, informative, very knowledgeable and wasted no time showing us where and how to eat at the best-of-the-best. We are encouraged to take more advantage of our own Chinatown here in Los Angeles. My wife and I look forward to other cuisines offered by this group.

Another great tour

Had a great time in Chinatown with the group.

Raheem was a great guide for a first time visitor or a local like myself.

I as well as the others on the tour especially loved his passion for food details as well as some history. The organizers of these tours need to take my advise and let Raheem put together some more exotic ethnic tours for local and visiting foodies. This is the fourth foods of New York tour I have been on and have enjoyed them all.

See ya on the next tour,

Allan

Very informative and lots of great food! We were very impressed with our tour guide's knowledge of the area. We will definitely go back to eat at some of the restaurants.

Enjoyed the information and most of the food.

We enjoyed the tour for the most part. The day was beautiful and walking around was easy. We had never had dim sum before and now that we have, we know we'd never have it again. The insides were good, the gooey, sticky outside were not to our liking. The rest of the food was enjoyed. Lots of good information from the guide, thank you.

If you have never cared for duck, you will love the Peking Duck....also, the dumplings and the rest of the food items. The tour was one of the best we have been on, and we have been on all of them.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Raheem? He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his subject. Took care of bathroom issues etc.

A great afternoon which I would highly recommend (and already have) to friends especially with this guide.

I CANT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN!

OUR GUIDE WAS FABULOUS, (HIS NAME ESCAPES ME AT THE MOMENT BUT HE WAS PROFESSIONAL IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD, FUN TO BE WITH, TOTALLY INFORMED AND KNOWLEGEABLY AND PERSONABLE TO THE MAX!)THE FOOD VARIABLE AS WELL AS HOW WE CONSUMED SAME, EITHER ON THE STREET OR IN A WELL PLANNED SUCCESSION OF DELIGHTS, WAS PERFECT AND INVENTIVE TO SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN NEW YORK AND THOUGHT OF CHINATOWN AS BEING BOTH INTIMIDATING AND OVERWHELMINGLY CONFUSING ALL THESE YEARS. . I NOW FEEL VERY INFORMED AND I HAVE A MUCH BETTER HANDLE ON WHAT THE AREA HAS TO OFFER IN BOTH A CULTURAL AS WELL AS EPICUREAN EXPERIENCE. I CAN ONLY SING PRAISES TO OUR GUIDE FOR ENLIGHTENING ME, HE LET ME ROLL WITH THE 'FOODIE' KNOWLEDGE I'VE ACQUIRED OVER THE YEARS AND WAS NOT CONDESENDING OR OFFENDED BY MY INPUT. HE WAS A TRULY GREAT GUIDE AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO FRIENDS AND MYSELF GOING ON ANOTHER TOUR AND/OR THE SUSHI DINNER WITH HIM. ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A SUPURB EXPERIENCE THAT I WOULD DO AGAIN IN OTHER VENUES. I APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE MY OPINION AND LOOK FORWARD TO BEING A CUSTOMER FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TYPE OF TOURING NOT JUST TO FOODIES BUT FOR THOSE FROM OUT OF TOWN WHO WISH TO LEARN ABOUT SPECIFIC AREAS UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. THIS IS FAR FROM SITTING ON A DOUBLE DECKER TOUR BUS, THIS IS THE REAL DEAL WITH SOME TASTY PLATES AS A TREAT. THANKS AGAIN!! JUDY WILLNER

Bert is a keeper

A great variety and description of food sampled. Saw and visited places we would never have known of or found on our own. Bert is obviously well versed and experienced in the foods, history and ins and outs of Chinatown.

We had a delightful time on the Chinatown Food and Culture Walking Tour! Compared with other food walking tours, this one provided more food and mostly indoor seating (which was beneficial since it was cold and rainy on the day we went). Our guide was excellent -- lots of great stories about the history of the area.

Chinatown Food tour

Great tour. Very informative and awesome food. Only hiccup in out tour was in our email it said to meet outside the restaurant while everyone met inside. Only missed 2 minutes of tour though. Most favorite was the Peking duck crepe. Least favorite-Egg custard(while it was good-I think if it was summer tour it wouldn't have been a snack)
