Excellent Chinatown Tour

Have taken all of the tours except NoHo ( will do it on our next trip to NYC) and all have been great--this one is no exception. Having lived in the area for a number of years Bert (sp.) was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the cuisine and some of the "nooks and crannies" we would never know or learn about. Highly recommend this tour.

Chinatown Food Tour with Bert

Recently went on the Chinatown Food with Bert and am happy to say it was the best food tour, out of three, I've taken in New York. Not only was the food amazing, but Bert was so funny and told many stories that made me not only appreciate all there was to eat, but also the history of this section of the city. I will definitely continue to do more tours and am hoping there is a way to get Bert as a guide again.

Perfect Food/Culture Introduction to Chinatown

We had always avoided venturing into Chinatown due to our lack of knowledge of the area, the food, and the culture. Fortunately, we took this tour and experienced the vast knowledge of our guide, Bert, who had resided in Chinatown for several years and frequently patronizes the local restaurants there. The combination of sit-down food tastings and Bert's explanations of the food and history of this area made this the ideal tour for us. Anyone who might be a little nervous about striking out alone in this area should start with this top-notch tour.

We did not have high expectations before the tour but we really enjoyed ourselves. I am sure that we will take another one in the future

I believe the quide was a gentleman by the name of Rahim though I may be mistaken. The quality of the tour is really a result of his knowledge and personality. He did an outstanding job. I hope this communication gets to him because he is the reason I would recommend the tour. Ken Margraf and Margaret Crowell.

Our tour guide was very informative. The restaurants and food were fantastic. We went back to the Peking Duck for dinner - well worth the money.
