Worth Doing while in NYC

Four of us, three from Vancouver B.C. and one from Toronto, ON were on our once a year ladies getaway. We were all impressed with the knowledge, enthusiasm, organization and humour Dianna shared on our tour. Samples were ample and delicious, shopkeepers welcoming and proud. Dianne was passionate about her native city. Discussion afterwards led to only one suggestion for improvement, (and I made this suggestion doing this tour three years ago), that at the beginning of the tour, when she introduces herself to the group, she ask everyone to share their first name and where they are visiting from, a great conversational starter as we spend three hours walking, share food and learn neighbourhood history together.

Spent four days in New York with friends. Of all the things we did--Book of Mormon, Anything Goes, 21 Club, Blue Note--this tour was everyone's favorite activity! Even in pouring down rain, Diana did a fabulous job of providing us with historical facts, interesting anecdotes, authentic restaurants, and delicious food...time well spent!

What a great tour, great food, great tour guide and learned so much about the history of the village. I went with a group of friends and we really had a great time. There was no food that wasn't absolutely delicious and I plan togo back to some of the stores to make purchases and to eat more. Learning about the history of the area only enhanced the experience. Thanks you to our tour guide who was so entertaining as well as informative. This is my second food tour with this company and I plan to do more.

My husband and I took the Chelsea/Meatpacking tour in May 2011 and had a great time. The tour leader was Kurt and he made the tour interesting and fun. With that in mind I suggested to my group of friends that we try the Central Village/SoHo tour. Our tour guide was not as enthusiasticic as Kurt and although very nice, just not that interesting. I may have a difficult time convincing some friend into another tour in Feb.

Susan was a fantastic tour guide! She was very informative and entertaining! Even though it rained almost the whole day, we enjoyed every minute...mainly because Susan knew so much about the area and it's history. I highly reccomend these walking food tours. When we come back to New York City, we will definitely arrange another tour!

This part of the Village is quiet, beautiful and has many quaint restaurants and shops. I really am going to stay down in this part of NYC, next time I visit.

My third tour with FofNY Tours and maybe even the best. Great tour guide, so enthusiastic, so knowledgable. The food choices were very varied and not too large. From Italian to Indian to Cuban the food was selected to enable you to try items you'd never normally order. The history element of this tour is always great, they don't just do food! They do neighbourhoods but the history is spot on. My guest loved it too
