Awesome

We had a great time! There was much less walking then we expected, we learned the history of the area of NY in addition to the food tasting. Our guide Raheem was really knowledgeable, an engaging speaker, and had a good sense of humor. We were delighted with the selection of places that were chosen for the tour. Next time we are in NY, we will definitely go on another tour!

One recommendation, if you're going on a food tour while traveling, go on the tour early in your stay so you have more time to go back to the places you learned about on the tour. We did find time to go have dinner at Monte's and it was excellent!

Great Tour!!

A group of us take these tours on a regular basis. Always fun, always informational. We try to take tours of different areas, but are not opposed to repeating any of them!! (which we have done) This was the first tour we took of Central Greenwich Village--and one of the best. Our tour guide, Diana, was exceptional. Her command of the area and its rich cultural history was excellent. It was very interesting to learn about the past of Washington Square Park, NYU, little known restaurants and many of the small clubs that served as starting venues for many now-famous musicians. And the food . . . very good!! In the past, most of the tours provided adequate amounts of food. This tour provided more food than any of the other tours. The nice part of this tour was that three of the locations provided indoor, sit down tastings (very nice touch) All in all, this is one of the tours that we would have no hesitation in repeating!!

This was our second Food Tour and this by far was the best one yet! Our tour guide was very personable and knew the history of the area in and out. He shared his personal experiences with other area eateries or shops that we didn't actually stop in as well. Definitely do not eat before going on this tour! We had enough to last the whole day. The food and experience was wonderful.

SOHO..south of Houston..who would have known unless you took a tour with a small group of friends. Our tour guide was wonderful. She had passion for the area and inspired us as she walked. We sampled food of the various restaurants and shops that has made the area what it is today. History abounds. What fun we had. The 3 hours went quickly and we can't wait to go back.

We were over in the US from Australia travelling with a group of friends, and 4 of us did this Foods of New York tour. It exceeded all expectations and was fantastic - probably the most interesting and fun tour I've ever done. Lots of tastings of beautiful and diverse food, combined with interesting info about the surrounding area, lots of photo ops, and a great lunch and best mojito in NYC (yes, it reallly was!) at a Cuban restaurant. The Village is such a great area, and if it wasn't for us doing this tour, we never would have seen any of it. Our guide was great too - very relaxed and fun.

As a result of this tour we then all went back down to the Village that night for dinner with another few of the friends we were travelling with - to Montes Italian restaurant, and then out to Cafe Wha afterwards until the wee hours - and had one of our best nights on the trip!

Definitely 100% recommend this tour!

will always do a food tour from this company in NY

This was my second tour by them. I enjoyed the tour immensely. The guide was great & quite knowledgeable. I also enjoy the guides that were born & raised in NYC.

The only complaint I had was our the food stop at a Cuban restaurant. I felt that it was a tourist trap - I did not get the authentic feel/vibe. It was a good opportunity to sit down, but I would recommend discontinuing this stop.

We really enjoyed the walking tour. Lots of history about people who frequented the area years ago and our guide was engaging and really passionate about what he does. Interesting and unique restaurants. Places you could never find on your own and a good variety.

Great tour and gift idea

This is the 2nd tour we attended, the first was the Village tour. Based on this, we can compare that this 2nd tour was much better than the 1st in many ways ---- great guide, Raheem, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun; more interesting restaurants/tastings provided including few sit-downs enjoyed, most especially the Cuba Restaurant segment. Will definitely recommend to friends & family. Am already thinking of which family to give these tours as gifts to in the future ......

We loved the tour ... a great, different way to see Greenwich Village and Soho. A fun way to try out different ethnic restaurants and learn some of the local lore at the same time. We would have never found these places on our own but will definitely go back next time we visit. P.S. Rahim was an awesome guide!

Wonderful Food Tour!

All four of us in our group (women between 44-55 years of age) thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a combination of food and historical tour of Greenwich Village. A great balance of talking, walking and food. The food was fabulous and we we very full afterward. If men go on this tour, they may be surprised at how full they become, too. Our tour guide, Susan, was very knowledgeable and very congenial -- she really made to tour fabulous! Can't say enough good things about this tour.
