I use this for customer outings. The historical information is very specific to the area. The variety of food samples is enough for everyone.

We were surprised at the amount of food samplings we enjoyed. Everyone delicious and different. Our guide, Susan, knew the area well and was proud to share its unique features to all of us. We had a delightful walk through the neighborhoods as she pointed out the numerous ethnic restaurants and local architecture. Absolutely, will try the other tours on our next visit!

Traveling to NYC frequently to see Broadway Shows, this was the first time I had gone on any tour in NYC. Let me tell you it was the best thing I ever did. Although the weather went from rain, snow, thunder and freezing rain, it was just great. The food was very good and filling. The information about the area and other local establishments was very informative. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to my next one.

Absolutely the best foodie tour I have ever been on. The restaurants selected give a broad overview of the different nationalities that make the Village the unique area it is. The portions were big and atmosphere inviting. Our tour guide, Raheem was excellent. He felt like an old friend showing us his neighborhood within the first five minutes. We wished we could have rented him for the weekend. The tour owner has exceptional customer service skills as we were late due to traffic, and he went above and beyond, I repeat...above and beyond to catch us up to the group, as well as provide us with the samples we missed. I HIGHLY recommend this tour to everyone. I am already looking at my calendar to schedule a return visit with others. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!!!!!

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. I usually have ADD issues with walking groups and ditch out at some point, but this was totally engaging, even for my 16yr. old daughter with me, Our guide, Susan was interesting, personal, relevent and real... her personality, the tour itself, and the food kept our interest, and a special memory was created. Thank you Susan!!

Wonderful Peek Inside Local Area

I first saw the Foods of New York Tour while watching Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen and made a note to try them out next time we visited NYC. From the on-time start, to the perfect timing of the food when we arrived at each featured restaurant, this tour is well thought out and well executed. Raheem is a wealth of knowledge and enthusiastically shared "inside" stories about the the area and the restaurants (not just the ones we stopped at).

The tour was relaxed and fun, if a teeny bit lengthy. You are on your feet most of the time (about three hours), and you will slowly make your way around a four square block area, so don't be afraid that you will be doing a marathon. We really got a feel for the neighborhood and look forward to exploring it a little more on our next trip. We will also book another tour when we return to NYC and we will ask for Raheem!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I was not familiar with this area of Manhattan, so it was great to be exposed to it. I will definitely go back to enjoy it another time. The tour was a great mix of food and history of the area. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly. I want to go on another one of the tours in the near future.

What a great event! Thanks to our well informed tour guide, we walked over 3 hours through Central Village and SoHo. If you want to know where Bob Dylan lived, Jimmy Hendrix played music, and other historic events, go there. Besides that you get a lot of information about the various kinds of restaurants, not to mention the loads of food you are able to taste from Italy, India, Cuba, France, etc. We had so much fun together that the tour could well have lasted even longer.

Will definitely make another food tour next year! Thank you for this great event.
