The tour provided fun and interesting insight into the culture, art, history and food of the Village. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon and explore food that you likely would not otherwise discover.

We didn't receive all the food that was listed on the website. we never got the artichoke pizza. When we asked about it the tour guide said, we don't get that pizza anyways we get margerhita but we cut that out and replaced it with a cookie because people were getting too full. Not that this is a problem, but when we signed up for it we picked it because of the food listed on it, so it needs to say what food we will actually be getting. We had people in our group that couldn't eat at one of the other stops but went anyways because they knew they'd get pizza and still be full, but ended up not getting what they wanted and not being full. Just disappointing that something is listed but then not given. We would have picked a different tour had we known.

The food tour was our favorite planned event during our trip!!! Diana was knowledgeable and fun while being a complete professional. I would recommend the tour to anyone who loves food and would enjoy an afternoon of fun eating.

Great tour guide. Disappointed in venues

I went on the tour with my grown sons. We have participated in over 20 food tours across North America over the past few years. We enjoyed this tour because of the tour guide (fantastic. Very interesting and full of fun facts) as well as the amount of food that we received (worth the money spent). Where we felt the tour was disappointing was with the participating venues. On our previous food tours, the group has gone into the shop, and at some point the owner or manager has come out and spoken to the group, given them a reason to embrace their establishment and given us a chance to look around and see what the store was about (not time to shop but at least view what made the shop special). On our previous tours, we have ALWAYS gone back to the shops and bought something or eaten there again. On this tour, we did not go back to a single place even though we walked by them many times. The bakery we went to (don't even remember name) was a perfect example. We were outside on the steps and someone came out, handed the guide a box of macroones and went back in. No eye contact. No 'we've got wonderful things inside. Come back and take a look". Nothing. For many of the stops our guide brought us the food on a tray (brought to us outside the shop or across the street) and we never saw the inside of the store. I believe this really detracts from the success of the tour. As I said, in all the tours we've been on, this is the first time we never went back to one shop or restaurant.

I took my mother in law, who is a food enthusiast, on the Heart of Greenwich Village tour. Our tour lady was named Susan. Susan did not disappoint. You can feel her love and authenticity for the city she loves and lives in. It was a nice, smooth tour with a lot of neat information and amazing foods to try. It was a great variety of food, plenty to keep your stomach filled, we used the tour as "lunch." The walk was not bad, the scenery was amazing, and the tour guide was so friendly and connected to all the people taking the tour. She took the time to get to know everyone and was flawless with remembering everyone's name. I highly re

Excellent- and filling- Overview of the Village

Ted was a great guide- he provided a fun combination of food, history, and perspective of the village. I've been on food tours in NYC, Chicago, Seattle, and Italy, and this was definitely one of the best. The food was a combination of classic places and characters with new eateries.
