A Great Overview of an Historic District

Come hungry - very hungry. The food stops were varied, interesting and all good. From Italian pasta to an Indian wrap to a fabulous French sweet. The guide, Susan, was very knowledgable and encouraged questions. We were given an overview of the history of the heart of the Village. We learned about the architecture of the area as well as about some of the famous celebrities who frequented the clubs and restaurants of the Village. Three hours was a long time but we got to sit during some of the food stops - which was a welcome respite from the heat. Two highlights were the Porto Rico Importing Co - a coffee store that had the largest variety of beans I have seen - and Sullivan Street tea & spice company which equaled Porto Rico in its tea offerings.

Wear comfortable walking shoes! Enjoy.

Could have been shorter, food more evenly spaced

We could have had less in depth detail about things and moved along a bit more quickly - 2hrs would be good. While the food was very good, the majority of it was served within the first hour and it seemed like alot; I had to throw some away, it was too much to eat.

Loved the experience! Took the Central Greenwich tour with 3 friends from out of town and all agreed it was a highlight of their New York City visit. Diana, our tour guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, the tour was well organized, and the food was very good. Especially enjoyed visiting the small food shops that were included on the tour. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed the tour very much. My sister from California accompanied me. The weather was great and all the food was great everywhere we stopped. This is my second time taking this tour and enjoyed it as much as the first time.

Raheem was an excellent and enthusiastic tour guide, shepherding us all around Central Greenwich Village and providing entertaining commentary along the way. Everything was well organized and the food was delicious, from the pizza to the chocolate pear tarts and everything in between. Come hungry--you'll have more than enough to eat! Highly recommend this tour.
