Great food! Great commentary!

What an eclectic culinary experience! Each stop was different with the dish ready as we arrived. I like grilled cheese sandwiches, but this one was "special". Also, we were assured that there would be enough food to satisfy the appetite of most people-- this was more than true, as there were always extras that could be had if one wished.

Finally, our tour guide was a pleasure to be with. She was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. All in all, it was a fun tour (I know this was only luck, but the weather was perfect also).

Heart of the Village Food Tour

My husband, son, his wife, and I really enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide, Susan, was very friendly and personable. It impressed my that she remembered everyone's names from the beginning of the tour. Her knowledge of the area and restaurants was excellent. We enjoyed all the food, with the exception of the breakfast wrap at the Indian restaurant; however, we feel we would probably like another type of wrap there. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends. Thanks for a great food tour!

This was a wonderful food tour. Our guide provided us with so much information about each of the establishments we visited and provided us with many of the historical changes occurring in the village.

I visited New York City with a local friend. The tour was our second together and lots of fun as was the first. The tour guide had much information on the history, architecture, and food of Greenwich Village. The food was interesting, plentiful and tasted great. Don't eat breakfast and you may only need a light dinner afterward. The three hours went by so fast! We will definitely try some of the other food tours offered.

Second Tour, Another great time

We took our first food tour last year and couldn't wait to take the second. Raheem (hope that is spelled correctly) was our tour guide and Ted was along to learn the tour. Both gentlemen were informative and delightful. The food on these tours amaze me. Not only is it delicious but diverse culturally. We learned fascinating historical information about the area and stories that would definitely not be found in textbooks. The group we were with included people from all over the world which also makes for great conversations as you walk through The Village. We REALLY enjoy these food tours and if you are going to be in NYC for a few days I HIGHLY recommend it. We can't wait to get back to the city to try another food tour with this wonderful company.

Our guide was great. I could not believe how much food we were given at each place. 10 years ago we remember just getting a taste. This was way more food, and we loved it!

Barri did a great job - provided interesting historical information and was warm and welcoming. The first (grilled cheese sandwich with brisket) and last (French pastry item) were the tastiest, although the Cuban fare was also noteworthy. Nice way to get a feel for the area...

A Must-do while visiting NYC

This tour is a fabulous way to experience a neighborhood in NYC! Our tour guide, Susan, had a love for her city that she easily communicated to our group. She made me and my 5 girlfriends feel as if we were visiting our girlfriend and she was taking us to her favorite local spots where we could taste, touch and learn interesting and little known facts. The amount of food and the variety of food was perfect. Portions were generous from 1/2 sandwich, a bowl of pasta, a slice of pizza and other samplings with a chance for a couple of sit-downs with the opportunity to purchase adult beverages if so desired. A most delightful way to spend a few hours that was worth every cent!

Food tastings not as interesting & tour guide neg

We've taken this tour and others with your company and this time it just felt flat. The tastings weren't as interesting and the tour guide didn't engage us. She knew her stuff but was more acting than engaging and some in our large party (8) was really put off by her.
