Fabulous tour and great tour guide (Rahim, and please, I apologize for the mispelling of your name).

This was our third Food Tours of NY and we really enjoyed it. The food was wonderful, the company great and the restaurants/shops absolutely delightful. Thank you so much for sharing this part of your city with us. We visited two of the restaurants later that evening (drinks & apps) and we had such a good time at both. We had walked by many of these same places on previous visits to NYC, but never stopped in. Can't wait for our next visit to the Village so we can keep on working our way through the list.

Thanks again.

Something different while entertaining guests

The tour is a great change of pace from the usual suspects while entertaining guests visiting NYC. The food tasting was very good. The local shops are terrific-you will want to return to shop for provisions at each of them. Our guide was well informed about the history of the village and interesting in her presentation.

I was excited to find out that it was about more than food. Learned some neighborhood history and stopped in some places I'd never noticed.

We were a group of 11 people who came to NY to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. We wanted to do something a little different to accomodate a lot of different ages. We did the central village/soho tour. We learned a ton about the area. Our tour guide, Susan, really filled us in on a lot of the history of the area. Overall, we liked almost all the food. The spaghetti bolognese at Monte's was fabulous. We thought the dishes served at Cuba were fantastic!! The chocolate pear tart, homemade mozzerella, and homemade pepperoni were spectacular. There were mixed feelings about the potato wrap from Indian Bread. Some thought it was a little too spicy. However, we were lucky enough to be there when some fresh bread came out of the oven and that was superb!!! The only food that none of us liked was the "helluva" (I know I spelled that wrong!). It was sesame seeds with honey which formed a small piece of "candy." Honestly, not one of us liked it.

Overall, the tour gave us a great day and we learned a ton. There was A LOT of food offered and none of us were hungry for dinner. Word to the wise, don't eat a lot before you go. You really get a nice amount of food on the tour.

Our Tour guide made the tour, he was so knowledgeable and gave so much history of the area, buildings and people who lived there. I think I would have liked more tastings as I have had on other tours with you.

But it was a wonderful experience and I would want the same guide again
