Fantastic food and great history of area

I went on tour (after having it recommended by family) with a friend and my 21 yr old granddaughter and we all loved it. It is a tour that all age groups would enjoy.

The food was amazing and Diana gave us so much history on the area - she was fantastic.

She was fun to be with and I would recommend that all visitors to New York take this tour.

If we had more time we would have gone back to eat on a separate occasion.

I have visited New York before and was not aware of food tour but it was definitely one of the highlights for the 3 of us.

Great combination of history and wonderful food!

All the Foods of New York tours are awesome, but we especially like the Heart of the Village because Susan was our tour guide. She knows this neighborhood so well and she shares the history and introduces us to a wonderful variety of restaurants and shops that we would have walked right past if we were exploring on our own. It's a great 3 hours. Wear your walking shoes and come hungry!

We toured the "Heart of the Village" with Susan and a group that was about 15 people. She was a terrific guide and we always were able to hear her. The food was really, really good, and made us want to return to some of the places we visited. This was our fourth Foods of New York tour, and we have been happy with all of them. We get to New York once or twice a year, and always include one of their tours.

We had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was so much fun, and we learned a lot of interesting stories and information about the area. The food was delicious and just enough to be full but not feel sick. We would definitely recommend this tour to people living in the area or visiting from out of town. We want to go on all the other tours since this was such a fun experience!

Our Food Tour was AMAZING!!! Our tour guide really enhanced the experience as she was funny, sweet, warm, and welcoming! I actually did this exact tour a few years ago and most of the spots were different which was a pleasant surprise. I bought tickets for my entire family and finance for Christmas and all 6 of us are still raving about it!

I heart the Heart of the Village Tour!

This is my third food tour with NY Food tours and it was just as good as the others I've been on.

Loved every food stop on this tour! Our hotel was right near greenwich village in soho, so we went back to Toloache for tacos, FPB for macarons and Oatmeals for breakfast one morning!

Our tour guide Susan was great. Friendly and informative. Spoke a lot about the history of the village and little fun facts you wouldn't know walking around the village yourself. Will definitely be making Bleecker & Macdougal a regular stop on my trips to NYC!

Great food getting to know Greenwich Village

Our family of four, my husband, myself, and our two teenage sons took the Heart of the Village food tour on Jan 2. We loved the food and our guide, Susan, was most accommodating given the cold weather - trying to get us more time inside. We have stayed at Washington Square hotel in the village several times already. This tour enabled us to learn lots about the area and the services available to us when we are there next.

The food options were yummy and our tour guide was a blast. She was very detailed and always added a twist to every new stop with a personal story or fun fact. She was always smiling and willing to answer all of our questions. And once again the food was delicious...would definitely do the tour again and any of the other options offered for tours as well.

Fantastic look at the Village

I decided to take my father (foodie and NY fan) as a Christmas present. We had the greatest time! Our tour guide, Diana, was very knowledgable and personable. It's a great way to experience the Village. You learn so much more than food, with a tour through Washington Square Park, and many anecdotes while moving from place to place. The food is absolutely delicious, and each tasting is very different from the last. My favorite day spent in the city so far. You only cover a few blocks, but you experience a lot.
