Great Experience and Delicious Food

We had a great time on the tour. The tour guide was so much fun, and we learned a lot of interesting stories and information about the area. The food was delicious and just enough to be full but not feel sick. We would definitely recommend this tour to people living in the area or visiting from out of town. We want to go on all the other tours since this was such a fun experience!

Our Food Tour was AMAZING!!! Our tour guide really enhanced the experience as she was funny, sweet, warm, and welcoming! I actually did this exact tour a few years ago and most of the spots were different which was a pleasant surprise. I bought tickets for my entire family and finance for Christmas and all 6 of us are still raving about it!

I heart the Heart of the Village Tour!

This is my third food tour with NY Food tours and it was just as good as the others I've been on.

Loved every food stop on this tour! Our hotel was right near greenwich village in soho, so we went back to Toloache for tacos, FPB for macarons and Oatmeals for breakfast one morning!

Our tour guide Susan was great. Friendly and informative. Spoke a lot about the history of the village and little fun facts you wouldn't know walking around the village yourself. Will definitely be making Bleecker & Macdougal a regular stop on my trips to NYC!

Great food getting to know Greenwich Village

Our family of four, my husband, myself, and our two teenage sons took the Heart of the Village food tour on Jan 2. We loved the food and our guide, Susan, was most accommodating given the cold weather - trying to get us more time inside. We have stayed at Washington Square hotel in the village several times already. This tour enabled us to learn lots about the area and the services available to us when we are there next.

The food options were yummy and our tour guide was a blast. She was very detailed and always added a twist to every new stop with a personal story or fun fact. She was always smiling and willing to answer all of our questions. And once again the food was delicious...would definitely do the tour again and any of the other options offered for tours as well.

Fantastic look at the Village

I decided to take my father (foodie and NY fan) as a Christmas present. We had the greatest time! Our tour guide, Diana, was very knowledgable and personable. It's a great way to experience the Village. You learn so much more than food, with a tour through Washington Square Park, and many anecdotes while moving from place to place. The food is absolutely delicious, and each tasting is very different from the last. My favorite day spent in the city so far. You only cover a few blocks, but you experience a lot.

Tour was awesome. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of history as well as many good places to eat. She also offered hot spots around Greenwich Village. I really enjoyed all the places we went to, all the meals were rally tasty.

A little too long?

The food was not as good as other Foods of NY tours. Also, the tour ended up dragging on and being a little boring compared to some of the other food tours we have taken with this company.

Family loved it!

A great choice for feeding and entertaining our group of 9, ages 12 - 60. Even the hubby, who works in NYC and avoids it when he doesn't have to be there, enjoyed himself. Our guide Susan clearly loves doing this, and made this slice of the Village come alive. Plenty of delicious food, interesting info, and relaxed pace. Half our group was local, half from California but familiar with the city, and we all got something new and fun out of it. And no eyerolls from the teens - wow! Highly recommend.

One of the only food tours where, as a vegetarian, I could participate without feeling like I was getting less of an experience! I loved it.
