Informative, Entertaining and Lots of Food

A group of eight took this tour. Four of us are from North Jersey and the others were our friends from England. We had a great time. Our guide, Raheem, was wonderful with many interesting stories about the sites were visiting. We enjoyed the variety of food we were served. Believe it or not, we could have actually done with a little less food. Everything looks so good that you eat all of it, but by end we wished we eaten a little less along the way.

Great tour...enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Indian food was a hit for us. Loved the history about the area, especially what was going on in the 60's!!!

This was our second Food Tour and it was great. Our tour guide was Raheem and he was informative and enthusiastic. The food at our stops was very good. The only problem was the weather-unfortunately it was raining during our tour.

Next time we are in the city, we will schedule our third tour.

Amazing Greenwich Village Walking Tour

Whenever I travel, I want to experience the local culture and food as much as possible within the limits of time. Finding this culinary walking tour made me so excited and I immediately signed up. It was everything and more than I expected. Our guide who has lived in NYC her entire life had a wealth of knowledge . Her passion for the Village and all of her stories allowed me to really "feel" and experience where I was. AND the restaurants and shops we visited were perfect. They were all ready for us and shared wonderful samples of their product. I was very well fed! I will never forget it and I wll recommend it to anyone and everyone! Cheers.

Raheem, the tour guide was outstanding, both in his knowledge of the venues and the history of the areas visited. His interpersonal skills created a convivial and harmonious atmosphere within the group in a very short time. The food tastings were all delicious and the accompanying booklet of recommended venues will bring us back to this area again. This was a highlight of our trip.

The Time Flew By

We enjoyed our tour of Central Greenwich Village with our guide Susan. It was like spending a few hours with an old friend who couldn't have been more generous with her time and enthusiasm for the neighborhood. Of course, the food was lovely, and we ate and ate and ate from a diverse assortment of goodies--Italian, Indian, Cuban, with some tea and a yummy chocolate pear tart thrown in for good measure. The time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. Needless to say, we didn't need dinner that night.

Three ladies took this food tour. It was just the best! We were with people from Canada, Texas, Colorado, and Austria. We loved the choices of restaurants and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. She enthusiastically showed us around Greenwich Village and gave us quite a bit of history in the process. We heartily recommend this tour to anyone who wants a great variety of restaurants and learning about the culture of a great area in NYC.
