We had more food than we could normally eat on a lunch sitting so we didn't need dinner either just a light snack at night. The information on the local area was very interesting and our guide was very interested in the whole group which aloud us all to chat

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour as much as the food. Great to walk around and learn the history of the area while enjoying spectacular food samples.

Food was great! Loved the village we toured in. Tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the village and the restaurants/food. Needed more time to drink alcohol if it's going to be served- could cut out some of the history stops along the tour to allow more time at the sit down places or do sample sizes of alcohol (half glass/half price).

I have been and enjoyed many food cultural food tours. The Village tour is my most favorite by far. Not only was the food spectacular, but Susan the tour guide was so informative and passionate about Greenwich Village. It seems she has experienced and watched the neighborhood go through many changes in the past 40 or so years.

I highly recommend this tour.

Food and History, how can you beat it!

Our tour guide was great. Susan learned our names and was very interactive. We enjoyed the food. The kati roll place was the weakest is the line up. They should do chicken or paneer in the roll, not egg. I don't think it entices people to go back. We did go back and eat at the Cuban place. Cuba was delicious. We had steak and red snapper that was do flavorful.

I have been to NYC several times and have done all of the "touristy" things...and this is by far the best thing I have ever done! We learned a lot about The Village history and also ate delicious food. My only regret is we didn't do this earlier in the trip so we could go back to the area and restaurants.

We visited seven venues, all of which were very good. There was an abundance of food. Our guide was wonderful, interspercing local history with food information. The pace was just right and all the food was delicious.

Suzanne (I think that is her name) was an excellent tour guide. She provided all kinds of great info and went out of her way to make us comfortable and answer the zillion questions we had. The food and food establishments were terrific, and the historical info about the 'heart' of Greenwich Village that Suzanne provided was very entertaining and interesting. I highly recommend both the tour and the tour guide! (highlights: grilled cheese sandwiches, Café Wha? info)

Great food, great leader and terrific information!

Susan was a a very informative leader, concerned about the group in the heat of the day. I loved all the food, the melted cheese sandwich was my favorite and my guest loved the Indian restaurant. I learned quite a bit about the village.

My only change, maybe, not to have the pasta and the pizza eaten one after the other- we needed a little time to digest. The variety of ethnicities in food was terrific! Looking forward to doing another tour- first rate!

Wonderful Way to Explore the City!!!

This tour was absolutely fabulous! the food was amazing and I had a great time learning about the area (Greenwich Village). It was a fun way to explore and to try new places that I might not otherwise have chosen on my own. It was also fun to have someone else order for us. My friends and I were full halfway through (and I did not eat before), but we were able to walk some of it off and finish the remainder of the tastings. Still, you will probably leave feeling very satisfied. Fun way to spend an afternoon with friends or family.
