High reviews led us to this Food Tour. You will not be disappointed! The amount of food you get is well worth the cost of the ticket, not to mention the bonus info about the neighborhood you gain from your guide. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends, and will be booking another tour with them on a return trip to NYC!

Heart of the Village Food Tour

My husband, son, his wife, and I really enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide, Susan, was very friendly and personable. It impressed my that she remembered everyone's names from the beginning of the tour. Her knowledge of the area and restaurants was excellent. We enjoyed all the food, with the exception of the breakfast wrap at the Indian restaurant; however, we feel we would probably like another type of wrap there. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends. Thanks for a great food tour!

This was a wonderful food tour. Our guide provided us with so much information about each of the establishments we visited and provided us with many of the historical changes occurring in the village.

We did the other Greenwich tour a couple years ago and it was terrific. When we decided to take this trip to NYC another tour was on top of the agenda. Susan was fabulous! Very friendly and knowledgeable. It's evident she loves her city and wants to share that love with others. Next trip we'd like to do Chinatown. Enjoy!

I visited New York City with a local friend. The tour was our second together and lots of fun as was the first. The tour guide had much information on the history, architecture, and food of Greenwich Village. The food was interesting, plentiful and tasted great. Don't eat breakfast and you may only need a light dinner afterward. The three hours went by so fast! We will definitely try some of the other food tours offered.

Diana was a great guide! Enthusiastic, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Greenwich Village. The food was absolutely delicious and we left too stuffed for dinner that night. Highly recommend this tour!

Favorite thing that we did in NY!!

This is my second time to New York and my second time doing this exact food tour, and both times, it has been my absolute favorite thing that I did! We had Susan as our guide both times, and she's the best. I chose to go on the same tour as I went on last time because I had my husband with me this time around, and it was his first trip to NY. I really wanted him to experience all the food and culture and history present in the village. I was thrilled when I saw that Susan was once again our guide for this tour. She has such a great personality and is wonderful at encouraging us all to break out of our shells and get involved. She also has an absolutely uncanny ability to remember names.

The best part about the tour is that it is so filled with history, information, and culture that you really feel like you've gotten an entire day's worth of exploring out of a three hour tour--with amazing food to boot. I recommend going on your first day of your trip so that if you see places you'd like to spend more time at, you can go back later and you're already somewhat familiar with the area.

Next trip, I'd love to do a food tour in a different neighborhood each day I'm there. My husband was reluctant about a food tour because he wasn't sure what to expect and he was worried that it seemed "too touristy", but it ended up being his favorite part of the trip! It really doesn't feel touristy at all. It feels like a family friend showing you their favorite spots of their favorite city. Well done! You rule!

I've done the Chelsea Mkt, the Original Greenwich and now the Heart of Greenwich food tours. They are awesome! For this one, Susan was fantastic and (as stated on line) it was completely different than the Original Greenwich tour. Loved it!!!
