My sister and I took the tour and very much enjoyed it. Our guide was so friendly and shared so much good information. Was very gracious with water, ponchos for the rain...... Saw so much and enjoyed all the stops. The small group is really nice too.

Loved it and will do again. Great reviews for our guide. He was the best!!!!!

A wonderfully tasty way to see Central Village/Soho.

Our tour guide Mr R (only cause I can't remember his christian name)

was a fabulously informative culinary expert with a good sense of humour.

We loved not only the food but the intersting facts he gave us along the way.

Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Found some interesting restaurants on this tour. Excellent food descriptions. Other info was typical tour book fare. The guide was knowledgeable but did not make the group comfortable. When a member of our group, started to spell his name, she said curtly -"You think I can't spell that name? It is pretty common." She spent a fair amount of time at the beginning describing the tour and lining us up -correcting people as to where they were standing on the street. In that time she never introduced us to each other. THE GROUP NEVER REALLY JELLED. AS THE TIME WENT ON SHE SEEMED MORE RELAXED.

I was on the other FOODS of NEW YORK tour and the guide introduced us to each other and engaged the group in a very relaxed way. He told stories and just made the tour come alive. It was a great tour.

This time the food was good, found some new restaurants but the tour itself was mediocre.

Our tour guide, we believe his name was Rajim, was excellent! We went on the tour on July 9th. He was very enthusiastic, ready to answer all our questions, he knew how to keep our interest very high and he knew what he was doing. We loved the tour since we learnt a lot about the area and after it was finished, we went back to a place he showed us. All NY visitors should take it.

Rahim ( I hope I am spelling his name correctly) was a great tour guide. He loves his job, as his enthusiasm and knowledge flow freely when he talks. He talked of the neighborhoods and specific buildings that we passed, as well as of the restaurants and owners to which we visited. The food was plentiful and enjoyable. It was a fun way to spend 3 hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in NYC. We visited places that we may not have passed during our walks around the city and it gave us a better understanding of the Village and SoHo areas. I would recommend this tour to others.

Would do it all over again!

It was a great experience and most enjoyable. Susan, our tour gude, was fabulous. She shared her knowledge in a very professional manner, with great diction and with an easy flow of wording for all to understand. She kept our attention with her knowledge and presentation. The food tasting was excellent. There was nothing not to like about this experience as far as the food selections were concerned.

I would like to suggest two things if I may. Firstly, your advertising suggests that the food tasting is comparable in quantity to a lunch. We found we were very full after the tastings. Perhaps it could be suggested that one might not want to have reservations at a restaurant for a large dinner the same day as the food tour and tastings. We had reservations at Sardi's for a three course dinner - and most of us were not the least bit hungry to eat at 8:00 pm.

The next suggestion would be for some thought and consideration to be given to a place where your guests might sit to hear the first fifteen to twenty minutes of the preamble which began the tour. For those of us over the age of 60, in particular several had very bad legs and knees, and the standing on the side of the street while Susan told us about the tour, and the restaurants, etc. became very long and very uncomforable.

What is the possibility that one of the sites might allow you to sit and enjoy the first tasting and at that time Susan could share her preamble to the afternoon activities.

And it would also have been nice if the water we were offered at the beginning of the tour had been cold. Not that it would have remained that way for long on Friday, as it was a very warm day......but it would have been nice if it had been cold to begin with.

All in all it was a wonderful and delicious experience. The foods we tasted were truly delightful and I would sign up again, when in New York, to take part in a Food Tour with this organization.

Thank you for a great afternoon.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about both the area (Central Village and SoHo) and about the food we were eating. We learned about architecture, important buildings, and famous people who lived and visited the area. In addition to this great cultural tour, we ate delicious food! Pasta, cheesecake, Cuban empanadas, hand made cheese... everything was amazing. I fully plan to take another food tour next time I return to NYC. A great way to learn about an area of the city and its amazing cuisine.

This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in a beautiful neighborhood rich in culture and diversity. Our guide's knowledge of history and the the current residents was invaluable giving us an inside glimpse of the area. The food was amazing and the package was exceptional value . Cannot wait to do another area of the city with this group !

My friend and i enjoyed this tour alot but would have enjoyed it more on a cooler day. It was very hot and sunny, and we spent alot of the time walking.

The venues were wonderful for the most part, and the guide told us about the history and culture of each area we went to.
