We had a very small group of 2 unrelated couples of 2 different age groups. Our guide (Susan) was very enthusiastic as well as informative. You could tell she loves her city and knows the really good places to see and enjoy a good meal.

Leisurely stroll through the Village soaking up history, tidbits about architecture, and most of all a delicious variety of food and drink along the way. Our guide was personable and very well versed on the area as well as the food scene in the Village.

Recently did this tour, it was a fun experience ! Our tour guide Susan was fun and knowledgeable. It's a great way to see the city. The foods were tastey, eat a light breakfast before going, lots of food. Would like to try another tour in the future.

Our tour guide was filled with information about Central Greenwich Village. My favorite place was the Porto Rico Import Co - Coffee Shop, as you opened the door you could just smell the aroma of all those coffee beans. What a grand experience and a great opportunity to learn a little about the culture of New York City, a must do tour if you love food followed by a bit of culture.

Barri was a fabulous tour guide. Having grown up just across the river, I learned so much about downtown Manhattan that I never knew. Food was great, will definitely go back to the restaurants for more eating. The only drawback is the unusually cold weather. Even though we were well dressed for the cold, the snow ladden streets did a number on our feet. It wasn't as cold uptown so it must have been wind or whatever...it still was a great great tour and have already recommend to many of my airline friends ! ! !

great way to explore a new neighborhood

Food tour is a great way to explore a new neighborhood! Distance walked was only a few blocks, but neighborhood was dense and there was much information gained; not only regarding food and restaurants but details about the neighborhood in general. What I didn't necessarily care for was that there seems to be a group of restaurants dedicated to each tour and you don't know exactly which ones will be on the tour. Of six we visited, I thought only 3 were tour worthy. But, will I go on another tour to familiarize myself with other neighborhoods? you, betcha.
