Loved this food tour and our tour guide, Susan (I believe was her name) was terrific. She really knew the neighborhood and many of the neighbors as well. Food was great at all the stops and I was full by the end. Next time I'm in NYC, I plan to do another one of their tours!

So much great information and food

This was our 1st time on a food tour and we enjoyed every bit of it. Our guide provided a lot of information about the area we were in, the places we visited, her own personal experiences, etc. We didn't feel like we were on a tour per say, we felt like an old friend was showing us around the area she grew up in. I HIGHLY recommend.

Raheem was our tour guide. He was super cool and tailored discussion points from the area to the attendees. We had tons of great food. We also made stops at some fun store shops, and of course, Washington Square. I would totally do it again. My friend, who is a local, is planning on taking her husband on one!

Not the best food tour in the city

This is the 3rd tour I have been on and booked through Zerve and my least favorite so far. Most of the food was just "ok", and most tastings contained some combination of cheese and bread/dough. Our guide was knowledgeable , professional and pleasant but not as entertaining as others I've experienced. We were told this was a "foods of NY tour" an not a Zerve tour although that was not clear when I booked it. Perhaps that was the difference? Take a pass.

This is our third tour. Will be back. Our guide Raheem was knowledgeable and

fun. We enjoyed the food, scenic neighborhood, and the company of those on

our tour. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thank you all!

Set my bar too high but still enjoyable

This was my second food tour in New York. The first was in Brooklyn and it was fabulous, so the bar for this tour was set high. The food was good with the exception of the curry egg wrap at masala. Many of the people in our group didn't eat the whole thing. The biggest disappointment was the narration by our guide. Greenwich village has a rich history and we didn't hear about much of anything. no juicy details or insider tidbits like what I learned on the Brooklyn tour. She mentioned bob Dylan several times... Really? Who cares. Aside from brief info on the recent renovation, we didn't get any history on Washington park or the arch. Some of the stops were weird; we would all cram into a shop to take a look/smell the smells but didn't taste anything and didn't have time to shop. It felt like she was vamping until it was time to arrive at our next scheduled stop.

Would I go on another tour? Absolutely! I love the city. Would I go with this company. Probably not.

Too long, least favorite of 3 food tours I've done

This tour was too long, we ended up leaving after 3 hours. The guide was not particularly engaging and didn't seem interested in or passionate about food. Was not money well spent. Food was ok. Mexican restaurant ridiculously loud. Pizza not great, crust too hard. Will be our last food tour.
