Our tour guide was filled with information about Central Greenwich Village. My favorite place was the Porto Rico Import Co - Coffee Shop, as you opened the door you could just smell the aroma of all those coffee beans. What a grand experience and a great opportunity to learn a little about the culture of New York City, a must do tour if you love food followed by a bit of culture.

Everything ranged from good to exceptional. Our guide Raheem was very personable; you can tell he genuinely enjoys interacting with both tourists and business owners.

Barri was a fabulous tour guide. Having grown up just across the river, I learned so much about downtown Manhattan that I never knew. Food was great, will definitely go back to the restaurants for more eating. The only drawback is the unusually cold weather. Even though we were well dressed for the cold, the snow ladden streets did a number on our feet. It wasn't as cold uptown so it must have been wind or whatever...it still was a great great tour and have already recommend to many of my airline friends ! ! !

Food tour is a great way to explore a new neighborhood! Distance walked was only a few blocks, but neighborhood was dense and there was much information gained; not only regarding food and restaurants but details about the neighborhood in general. What I didn't necessarily care for was that there seems to be a group of restaurants dedicated to each tour and you don't know exactly which ones will be on the tour. Of six we visited, I thought only 3 were tour worthy. But, will I go on another tour to familiarize myself with other neighborhoods? you, betcha.

Interesting information - the tour guide made a real effort to interact with each participant referring to each one of us by name.

Good knowledge of food in area to sample

Food was fresh and tasty

Leader talked a little too fast and there could have been a few more moments of silence

Otherwise was very good.

This was a third tour and we enjoyed it as thoroughly as the previous two tours. Although it was raining the entire time, the food, stores, and history still made for a fantastic tour. Our guide, Raheem, is high-energy, fun, and knowledgeable and he kept the tour moving and made each stop and taste come to life. We plan to do the other two tours during our next couple of visits to the city.

Also, the food tastings provide more than enough lunch for the heartiest of eaters. We are all quite full by the end of the tour.
