A Highly Enjoyable Tour

The Central Village/Soho tour was quite entertaining - filled with interesting bits of information on food, architecture and culture. The guide was very engaging and knowledgeable.

We would recommend a balance between the information shared on food and the way of life in the village as the tour focused much more on the food.

Guide was very entertaining but made no effort to get to know us ie. where we were from, what we like to do, learn a few names. Since we were a club it would have been easy to get the info and make it a more personal touch. Food was good. We were lucky to have good weather

This was the second foods of New York tour that we (myself and my 18yr old daughter) took while visiting New York. The same as the first of China town we enjoyed this tour immensely. It was brilliant hearing about the local history, sampling delicious local food, and seeing buildings, shops and venues of significance. Our guide Raheem was enthusiastic, welcoming and very personable. The whole three hours were a total delight. Would definitely recommend to others and wouldnt hesitate to take another tour if i have the good fortune of being able to return to New York in the future.

We had such a great time on this tour and enjoyed the food so much that we went back to 4 of the establishments to dine or to purchase items we saw. It was our 3rd trip to New York City and our 3rd NYC food tour. Each time the food tour was outstanding.

A "Don't Miss" Tour in New York City

The Foods of NYC Tour was recommended by a friend. We went to the website, and it was very easy to book, and the options were well explained. We thought it was going to be just about the food, but were pleasantly surprised when it also became a historical tour of Greenwich. The tour guide, Diana, was very good and very knowledgeable. The food, of course, was absolutely delicious and there was a great variety. We learned so much from this tour, that we are anxious to try one of the other tours on our next trip. We have heartily recommended it to several other people.

Bari was our guide and she did a fabulous job. Her voice was clear and all participants were able to hear her description of the businesses, buildings, and history of the area. The tour was very informative and the food tastings were excellent. A few weeks ago, my husband and I took the Greenwich Village tour with Bari. Again the food tastings were superb, and we have returned to some of the restaurants for lunch/dinner. In the future, we plan to reserve space on the other "Foods of New York" tours. This Central Village/Soho tour was excellent! If you are visiting New York, this is a tour that shouldn't be missed.

Great food and history of the neighborhood

We picked this food tour because of the different food options. I actually liked the Indian food the best. It gave us the opportunity to taste something different that I would be afraid to order or even go to that restaurant. A few places I would definitely go back because of their tasting and some for their history. Our tour guide was great and gave us so much information about the entire area - too much to remember. We took pictures of different places to jog our memory or to google later on. I am already looking into taking a food tour in Chicago and have told numerous people to definitely take advantage of one of these food tours. We loved it. Thanks
