Spent too much time at park. Would rather have sat down and had a cold drink

We had a small group of 10, it was well paced, extremely informative particularly re the local village life and history. Food was excellent, even on the larger size on occasion. Would strongly recommend.

However, I had been on this tour a few years ago and I believe the restaurants we visited were better than this time. Some were the same, but some were different. I don't think we got as much food as we might have and the quiche and dessert at the patisserie was not very good in comparison to last time.

We all enjoyed the tour with Susan very much...lots of fun facts! The food was delicious and more than we expected.

I would highly recommend this tour for adults, young and old. I do not think it would be a good idea for children under 12.

A Great Overview of an Historic District

Come hungry - very hungry. The food stops were varied, interesting and all good. From Italian pasta to an Indian wrap to a fabulous French sweet. The guide, Susan, was very knowledgable and encouraged questions. We were given an overview of the history of the heart of the Village. We learned about the architecture of the area as well as about some of the famous celebrities who frequented the clubs and restaurants of the Village. Three hours was a long time but we got to sit during some of the food stops - which was a welcome respite from the heat. Two highlights were the Porto Rico Importing Co - a coffee store that had the largest variety of beans I have seen - and Sullivan Street tea & spice company which equaled Porto Rico in its tea offerings.

Wear comfortable walking shoes! Enjoy.
