This was our third trip to New York but this was the first time my husband and I had thought about a food trip, but how we wish we had booked one before!

We had a fantastic day, and we were really lucky with the weather which makes a big difference. Our guide Susan was fantastic and she was really informative not just about the food and great little restaurants in Greenwich Village, but about the history and trivia of the place too.

The "tasters" you had varied from place to place we had soup, different plates of pasta, Cuban food, smoked mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes, pecan pies and proper New York cheesecake! It was more than enough for lunch and the best thing was my husband and I visited a few of the restaurants after our food tour and had some really nice meals.

The food tour gives you a good idea of where the nicest places are to eat as there are so many to choose from in New York, I sometimes felt that we wasted our time looking for a great restaurant and just getting overcharged, so this was great as you knew where to go for a really nice and at times inexpensive lunch or dinner.

I have been to NYC many times and only wished I knew about the Food and Culture tours before. I will make it a point to do another tour on my next visit. The price is reasonable, and is 3 hours well spent. With so much choice in NYC, this tour allows you to focus on a select few places, and gives you confidence to return to the respective area, and have a great meal. I love the Central Village area/SOHO. Raheem was a great tour guide. I hope to see him again on future tours.

The Soho food and culture tour was without doubt one of the highlights of our trip to New York. Susan, our guide, made the whole experience unforgetable, with a warm and sunny smile that melt the cold and windy weather. Food to taste was plenty and tasty, and all the historical background hints of the area made the tour even more fun; you could pass by many of the places thousand times without noticing those little hidden gems).

Definetely worthy, and actually the only thing to regret is not having done it at the beginning of our trip, so we could have used the tips about wonderful restaurants and clubs in the area. And it is moorish....one will never be enough as one is left wondering what can be awaiting you in the next tour.

The Greenwich/Soho tour was just as fun & informative as the others we've enjoyed through Food Tours. Our guide was friendly, interesting and funny (Rafim) and we had more than enough delicious food to savor. It is a great bargain and I would highly recommend anyone who's visiting NYC to go on one of these food tours!

Our guide was amazing. You could tell that he honestly enjoyed what he was doing and also enjoyed the places that he toured with us. We actually returned for dinner at one of the restaurants (Monte's) and stopped by a club (Cafe Wha?) for drinks and entertainment. I would highly reccommend this tour.

This tour is the best way to experience the city - walking around, seeing the sites, and listening to interesting stories about the neighborhood and establishments - all while eating great food. Tour guide (Mr. Z) was tops! Can't wait to visit another part of the city with this food tour company.

My daughter and son live in Brooklyn. I was visiting from Minnesota and have been on one of the other Food and Culture tours so wanted to take my daughter on another since she had the day off work. This one was excellent!!!! The food picks were exceptional - we went back to one of them for dinner with the 3 more people 2 days later! We also returned to 2 more of the vendors to purchase foods as a result of the tour. The history of the central village was a huge draw for us as well. Raheem (sorry if I murdered the spelling!!!) was excellent - his knowledge and passion for the area were infectious and made for a tour that went way too fast! Thanks! I've been on many Zerve tours and look forward to returning again.
