My 19 year old daughter and I chose this as our last hurrah of the summer. We both enjoyed it immensely. The tour covered a very diverse selection of food venues-restaurants, butcher, bakery, diff cultures etc. We will definitely go back to the restaurants for a full sit down meal soon. The guide was excellent; she relayed lots of interesting facts of history, culture and food . It is a great way to learn about a very interesting part of the city. Two thumbs up!

I am from Long Island, but moved away at the age of 18. Really enjoyed this tour, as I saw more of the city that afternoon than in all the years I lived on L.I. Dianna was our tour guide, and she was fabulous! Informative, fun and friendly! The food was excellent- I would return to all the restaurants that we visited! I took my daughter on this tour, but I have lots of friends who want to go on the tour, also! I look foward to the next NYC adventure!

It was a gorgeous day, also, so we walked around the city and saw South St. Seaport, World Trdae Center site, Little Italy,Chinatown and Times Square! Wonderful experience!

Best Deal in NYC

A friend of mine recommended this walking food tour, and I'm incredibly glad I decided to do it. Our guide (Susan) was a wealth of knowledge of both the area of SoHo / Greenwich as well as the establishments which we visited. I was surprised on both the quality and the quantity of food we were offered during out tour - I didn't even need to eat dinner that night! Overall I would say the combination of the value of the food as well as the great historical perspective of the area made this by far the best deal in NYC.

I would definitely recommend the tour and would love to take others offered as well, such as the China town tour.

Rahim Rocked at the Soho Tour on 8/8/09

Hello - I booked the Soho Food tour for my company this past weekend and just want your company to know we all had a blast! We had 13 attendees and everyone LOVED the food, the tour and the history we all learned. Most of us walk by places in Soho not even realizing how special they really are, and Rahim totally showed us a dif't side of Soho. He was so interesting, and passionate about the tour - going out of his way to make us realize how great Soho really is.

Almost everyone left the tour with a new appreciation of Soho and NY in general. Plus they all wanted to go on other tours through your company through the company or on their own, which is even better!! I know for myself, I'd love to know which other tours Rahim is responsible for, so I can make sure to sign up again with him.

Thank you so much for allowing our corporate party to have such a blast this past Saturday! :O)

We've been on the East Village Tour and the Meatpacking/Chelsea Tour so we knew we'd enjoy this tour as well and indeed we did! Raheem, our guide, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very attentive to the needs of the group. He gets an A+! A few of the food choices did not live up to the quality of the other tours, specifically the Indian food. The fresh, smoked mozzerella, sun dried tomatoes and Italian sausage were excellent as was the pear tart. Our mouths are still watering! The next time we're in New York City we plan to go on the Chinatown tour. Several of the people on our tour were raving about that one too! I would recommend all the Foods of NY Tours I've been on. You learn interesting historical facts, eat great food and get some exercise to boot. It's a win/win experience!!

What a way to end our 7 day NY adventure...too bad we did not do this at the beginning in order to return to some of the venues. We are still talking about our experience! Our guide was enthusiastic, informative, and accommodating:) His expertise of the area was outstanding. We highly recommend this walking and tasting tour to anyone who enjoys history, culture and delicious food. Our only regret was we had time to attend only one of the many foods tours offered.

Susan is a very knowledgeable tour guide, who seems to really love Greenwich Village. My daughter and I enjoyed the stop at Cuba the best, because of the wonderful Sangria and Mojitos.

This tour was what we'd hoped it would be---learning about the area and tasting some good food. The only disappointment was BellaVitae---while it was interesting learning about the restautrant and it's food/drink philosophy, it was odd to be inside, looking at the kitchen, etc., and not be offered something to taste---how hard would it be to put out some olives and cheese? However, that's the only criticism---our guide was knowlegdable, articulate, had a good way with people, and kept things moving. I especially enjoyed the walk through Washington Square and the explanation of its history. A good experience.
