Wonderful way to learn about the surrounding area and preview some awesome places to eat. Our guide was great and it came across how much she enjoys doing tours and Diana had great local knowledge.

Our group of 4 really enjoyed the food tasting, very nice variety while walking the Central Village SoHo area. Our guide Raheem was excellent, supplied a lot of interesting, historical information. All of us would do another food tasting tour.

I suggest that tour guides do NOT handle food when talking.. Our guide was excellent, but sprayed when talking. Disturbing when he was holding platters close to his face and giving a description of what we were about to eat!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had great fun with him. The different places we went he was full of great stories about the region, the people and the history of them. And of course knew all about the food we ate and the restaurants we visited. He also gave us suggestions of other places to go and restaurants that had great ratings. We thoroughly enjoyed another great tour. This was our 3rd with Foods of NY.

Great Greenwich Soho Tour

This was our second food tour. The first was the Greenwich tour and I didn't think that one could be topped. But this was simply superb. Great local info and culture from Susan and just the right amount of food. The weather was overcast and drizzle, but it didn't detract from the experience. Anyone heading for NYC for a vacation should make sure one of these tours is included in their itinerary. We saw shows, visited museums, ate at great restaurants and saw the sites, but the vacation would not be complete without a NY Food Tour. Can't wait for our next one.

The Other Side of the Village
Fri, Jan 20, 12   12:00 PM MelanieThiel Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Other
We have been on the East side tour of the village and found this to be different. Much more ethnic both in foods and cultures which was so fondly described by Susan, our host for the trip! We enjoyed the various foods but mostly it was fun to go inside and see the shops and workers and owners as that is the culture of the Central Village. Thoroughly loved Washington Square Park although we would return in better weather as it was bitter cold. Your tours are always a highlight of our time in NYC and we tell everyone to try them. Thanks again for a great look at inside NY where the real people are...
