This tour is the best way to experience the city - walking around, seeing the sites, and listening to interesting stories about the neighborhood and establishments - all while eating great food. Tour guide (Mr. Z) was tops! Can't wait to visit another part of the city with this food tour company.

My daughter and son live in Brooklyn. I was visiting from Minnesota and have been on one of the other Food and Culture tours so wanted to take my daughter on another since she had the day off work. This one was excellent!!!! The food picks were exceptional - we went back to one of them for dinner with the 3 more people 2 days later! We also returned to 2 more of the vendors to purchase foods as a result of the tour. The history of the central village was a huge draw for us as well. Raheem (sorry if I murdered the spelling!!!) was excellent - his knowledge and passion for the area were infectious and made for a tour that went way too fast! Thanks! I've been on many Zerve tours and look forward to returning again.

Our Tour leader was Diana and she was great. She had so much knowledge of the area and really enjoyed sharing it. The food was incredible. I hope all the restraunts know how much we appreciated them! I learned not only about the food and the people who prepared it but also about architecture, chess hustlers, pop culture stars, and so much more. It's just a great way to get to know the city and learn more about my favorite thing, food! I'm very anxious to come back for another tour. I would love to have Diana again, she was so good at what she does, Thanks so much

Me and my mom saw and did everything on our trip to New York City, but this was by far our favorite thing that we did. Our guide was awesome! He was really friendly and funny and knew so much about the area that we toured. The food and sites were equally fantastic. Next time we go back to New York we are doing more than just one tour.

This tour was much better than I expected--better food, more information about the area and the history, and just a lovely way to learn little-known facts about this section of NYC. I took my mother as a birthday gift, and she and I really enjoyed it. We happened to have a perfect fall day and the streets were crowded, which only added to the energy of NY.

Good variety of food. Great restaurants - we plan on going back to most of them. What was fantastic is hearing the owners/chefs of restaurant and speak and answering questions. More than enough food provided on the tour - but it was all wonderful. There were vegetarians in our group that were really well catered for - all places provided equal (or better!) alternatives - even at the butcher. It was great having the break in the middle with lots of walking. Wonderful history of the area - and the added movie and television references just added to the tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The tour also oriented us in a very unfamiliar area. The bakery was a wonderful way to end the tour(probably the best stop!) - we remained behind for coffee. Highly recommended - a must if visiting New York.
