Our guide Rahim was a delight, pleasant & very knowledgeable. He had an excellent rapport with all of the group & with all the establishments that we visited. The variety of tastings was excellent spanning a number of different cultures. His knowledge of the areas that we visited was also presented very well. Highly recommend the tour.

Even having to trudge through the slushy snow, it was informative and our guide

Rahim ( sorry about the spelling} was so enthusiastic. Had we been in NY longer we would definately have booked one of the other tours, so will recommend your company to any future visitors.

Thanks again.

a wonderful introduction to a neighborhood

I brought my 16-year-old niece with me. It was a great introduction to a great neighborhood, a place that is part of my own history, and one that I wanted to share with her. The tour gave more information than I could myself. And she could try foods that she might not try if asked to by Mom and Dad. Rashim was very knowledgable about the area, its features and history; about the restaurants, their strong points and specialties; about the food establishments and how they make their products. I was a little unsure if my niece would enjoy the afternoon, and I'm happy to report that she THOROUGHLY enjoyed herself. As did myself! This is not the first Foods of NY tour I've gone on and it certainly won't be my last.

As cold as it was, the tour guide kept checking if we were too cold and we had most of the tours inside as it got colder into the afternoon. The tour guide knew her stuff about the area and I learnt alot about the area as well as the good places to eat. Very well done!

ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMEND!! Both my roommate and I agreed that this ranks the top when it comes to describing our favorite NY experiences! The tour guide was endlessly knowledgeable and it was a delight to learn so much detail about the neighborhood and culture of this area! Who knew the streets that I walk every day had such a story to them? The food was obviously a treat to be able to try so many varieties of food and feeling welcome in every establishment. My roommate even went out to one of the restaurants that evening and had an amazing time as well! We'll be trying one of the other stops tonight actually! Even the downpour rain didn't sour the experience because you have not really experienced NY until you've been caught in a downpour. Thanks for any amazing experience, I'll be sure to keep food tours of NY in my book as an activity for both locals and tourists alike.

I have never been on a tour of this kind but I feel VERY confident I will never find a more enthusiastic, intelligent, and fun guide. I'd like him to take us around the whole city! When someone has a passion for their craft it is evident in their work and shines through in a way that enthralls those around them. I can't thank you enough. Mark

My sister and I did the walking tour, great ethnic foods with generous samples. Nicely paced, great guide who was friendly and gave lots of history of the village. O bvious that she loved the area. We went back that evening to one of the restaurants to have dinner and again another day to take photographs and have lunch. We

both would highly recommend the tour.

My brother and I are from Australia and we took this tour which recomended by a friend.

Firstly the wealth of knowledge Diana possessed on the area along with the her easy goingand friendly nature, made for one of the best activities I did whilst on holidays in NYC. Diana continually provided relevant information, facts, figures, and wonderful direction.

It was nice that we joined a small group on the day. It was easy to keep pace with Diana. Diana never once showed impatience or lack of interest. The group was captivated and engrossed by her teaching. The food tastings presented to us were a fantastic choice. The cafe, restaurant or business visited were warm, friendly and inviting.

Overall I was very impressed with the tour. I would highly recommend it to others (as it was recommended to me).

Please thank Diana for a brilliant day.

My adult daughter and I decided to take this tour because she is a culinary craftsman and enjoys all sorts of different foods. I was so pleased we had done this tour. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and patient and managed to keep everyone interested for the 2+ hours of our adventure through the streets of SOHO and the Village. She spoke well and shared so many interesting history tidbits and local flavor facts/legends which simply added to the entire experience. I even got to try foods I would never have tried on my own and I discovered that I enjoyed that whole "going out of the box with foods" thing. My daughter and I both were quite pleased and felt we certainly got our money's worth.

A great way to see the area, try the food, learn some history, including some social history, of a great part of NYC. The tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic.
