We enjoyed a most informative tour with Raheem, who is knowledgable, nurturant, and loves food like we do! The tour is well-organized and fun. It is one of my favorite activities to do as a parent with my grown children. A bonus is that it is equally interesting for tourists and native New Yorkers.

Our guide, Susan, was awesome. She has a great way about her, the perfect tour guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the food. It was a great day! And a great date! I am definitely going to do the other tours. It was a great way to learn about a NYC neighborhood and sample delicious food. BTW, I came hungrey and I was full near the end, could not finish the last 2 samples, and I have a big appetite. Awesome!

Tour with Rahim was Great!!

We toured Central Greenwich Village on Sunday with Rahim and it was excellent!

This was my 4th tour through Foods of New York Tours and I've never been disappointed.

The food was amazing and I left completely full and satisfied.

We had a small group of just 6 and we were able to have a more intimate experience without having to rush.

Overall, I was extremely pleased and would recommend this tour and this tour guide to anyone!!!

Rahiim was our host again ( I am a repeat foodie) for this food tour and he is full of great history, thoughts, and fun. The food was great and the group mixed well together which always adds to the experience. The rain did not impact the tour too much as we spent most time indoors. The only place that did not jive well with the tour was Negril as it seemed like a new, hip restaurant among a collection of old and new more interesting spots with either history or uniqueness of some sort. The tasting was good there, but nothing outstanding. I was sad to see Joe's Dairy closed/moved. I'll be back with my next group of visitors. Everybody loved it even more than the Broadway show which was spectacular.

Informative, Entertaining and Lots of Food

A group of eight took this tour. Four of us are from North Jersey and the others were our friends from England. We had a great time. Our guide, Raheem, was wonderful with many interesting stories about the sites were visiting. We enjoyed the variety of food we were served. Believe it or not, we could have actually done with a little less food. Everything looks so good that you eat all of it, but by end we wished we eaten a little less along the way.

Good distraction from the Weather!

WE enjoyed our 3 hour tour very much. It was a dreary, drippy day and we found that we hardly noticed that because we were so interested in the tour and all that we were learning about the city. When we were sightseeing on our own we found the weather much more challenging. Our tour guide Susan was lovely. I especially enjoyed chatting with other members of the group. It was sad to say goodbye.

It was nice. The weather was an inconvenience. The tomato soup could have USEd a grilled sandwich cheese. i like the Jamaica food, but it would have been nice to have it on a bigger portionplease .please make it better.. Nplease pext ptime , one whole piece of the tart! No sharing ! The tour guide was knowledgeable but it was weird he was promoting another restaurant.. Is he getting a commission from them?

Barri was a fabulous tour guide. Having grown up just across the river, I learned so much about downtown Manhattan that I never knew. Food was great, will definitely go back to the restaurants for more eating. The only drawback is the unusually cold weather. Even though we were well dressed for the cold, the snow ladden streets did a number on our feet. It wasn't as cold uptown so it must have been wind or whatever...it still was a great great tour and have already recommend to many of my airline friends ! ! !
