Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. She had lots of little snippets and stories to tell which livened up the tour. All of the food we had (and there was a lot!) was excellent with a great variety of different cuture's cuisines, including Indian, Italian, Cuban, French. Many vouchers for further discounts given. A great trip around Washington Square Park. Would have liked to walk a little further between tastings, but can't really complain.

Our tour guide Diana gave us a fast paced and comprehensive history of the area. She highlighted places of interest, background about the politics of the neighborhood and it's current residents. I would highly recommend the tour and Diana as its guide in a NYC minute.

Not exactly a "FOOODIE" tour

The food was not very good, not to mention interesting. I also got a weird vibe every time we stopped at a restaurant and we either couldn't go in or they made us wait outside because they were unprepared for our arrival. I felt like we were a nuisance to the proprietors. The man at the coffee shop actually made snide comments like, "ok you've seen it now leave." At the Cuban place, we had to wait outside because they weren't set up for us yet. There was plenty of room at the bar for us to have waited. And speaking of the bar, the guide pushed and pushed everyone to get cocktails (which we could have done earlier if they had allowed us in) and then rushed us so much in the end that people were sucking down their drinks as fast as they could and rolling their eyes at each other complaining about being rushed. And I'm sorry, but the food was boring and unpalatable. It was a waste of money and time.

The food tour of Greenwich Village/Soho was a fantastic experience that I would encourage anyone to try. It was a fantastic way to get a taste of NYC and we got a real sense of Greenwich Village which is now my favourite part of the city.

Autumn in New York, an outstanding local guide, and amazing sampling of Italian, Cuban, and French food - what could be better? The three hour walking tour was well planned and the rich history of Greenwich Village and a bit of SoHo shared by our guide, Susan, made for a very pleasant afternoon. My next visit to NYC will include another Foods of New York Tour.

Very good tour of Greenwich village and SoHo showing the hidden gems you wouldn't necessarily notice.

The tour included loads of tasters all of which were delicious especially the parathas, and the Sangria was a must!

Not only was the food tour good but the guides knowledge of the local area as we walked through was very informative.

Well done on another good tour of a New Yorker's local haunts

Nice blend of food sampling and facts about the neighborhood. Noise and fumes from trucks was only downside.

This mid Sunday Greenwich & SoHo tour was a fabulous experience, in large part due to our tour guide Raheem. He was enthusiastic, fun and knowledgable and knew all of the venues he took us to so well. There were more tastings than we expected and they were all great - we certainly didn't need a big dinner that night ! This experience had been recommended through other Canadians and we will pass on the tip to add this adventure to a trip to New York City.

This was a great tour. The tour guide was very lively and really knew the area and the people. I loved the information on the history and the food was amazing. We went back to one of the restaurants afterwards because it was so good.
