We loved the Heart of the Greenwich Village food tour. Our guide, Susan, was really friendly, funny and knowledgable, and she made the tour great. The food was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone.

Barri the tour guide was very knowledgable about the area. The only slight recommendation I have would be that most of the tastings were heavy. Other than that extremely worth the money and would recommend.

I planned this tour for my young adult daughters, sister and mother and we were not disappointed. The food at every stop was delicious and plentiful! My mom really enjoyed the historical and cultural information about Greenwich village we learned during our tour. It was just the right amount of walking and resting for our group and Susan was a great guide. We returned to some of the places we visited and used the coupons provided to shop! This was my second tour with this company and I will be planning another tour on my next trip to NYC.

Great tour with the friendly Diana.

Really enjoyed seeing all the different locations and eateries. Delicious food tastings but be prepared to eat on the hoof as you could only sit down for 2 of the samples. Plenty to eat! There seemed to be a lot of cheese so mention it when booking if you are not keen on it!

Great guide and tour, but the food hit or miss

We really enjoyed the tour and the history - there's so much to see and learn about on the Heart of the Village tour! The first stop was at MeltKraft and was truly outstanding, but the rest of the restaurants were pretty hot and cold compared to the other food we'd tried in NYC on our trip. The Italian and the pizza especially were only average, while the Cuban and Indian stops were memorable both for quantity and quality.

If you want to learn about the village and get stuffed, definitely recommendable. If you want to try the best the area has to offer, you might be better off researching yourself. The audience in our group was definitely skewed towards early 50s and higher.

Tour included some great food tastings whilst giving an insight into the area. Definitely recommend to others as something different to do in NY aside from the usual sights.
