Hot July Summer with Raheem but it was worth it!

This was my first tour and it won't be my last one! Raheem was very informative and, at the same time, humorous, thoughtful, and polite. It was an extremely hot day so Raheem did his best to get us cold water and shade or indoor reprieve from the sun. He was a big reason why we will do this tour again in August with other family members.

The food was delicious and the hospitality was genuine. This activity is a perfect way to hang out with your family or friends as long as everyone is mobile. It is primarily a walking tour with a celebration of history and food. There is no better way to understand what a neighborhood has to offer!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. We were glad we were recommended the tour by friends in Aust. Our guide Susan was not only pleasant she was very informative not only about the food but the area we toured. We were treated with decent food and a informative historical prespetive of the of the area we visited. In short it combined the best of two things food and culture in 3 hours.

I loved the Soho/Central Village Food Tour! Our guide Barri was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and really helped our group get a sense of the area and some of its best places to eat. All the stops were fabulous, and I enjoyed the array of food types - from Cuban to Indian to Italian. The beautiful weather just added to our great experience! A definite must for those who enjoy walking and eating as much as we do!

The food tasting was very generous, and very delicious! Our leader also had great knowledge of the area, and was very friendly, and even funny! She made a point of learning our names, and making sure we were having a great experience. We did!

My wife and I had just arrived in New York to start our US holiday when we attended the tour to get firsthand experience for real New York food. The tour was interesting giving us a good feel for the history, culture and foods of the Greenwich Village and Soho areas. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and moved at the right pace throughout the tour. We had a variety of food and the quantity and quality was good. We both enjoyed our experience and were pleased that we included this in our itinerary.

Our food tour was a wonderful experience for me, my husband, my sister and her husband. The fellows thought they may not like it but they loved it and we will do it again. Susan was so informative and really knew the area which gave us more than a food tour. So much history as well. The tour was very organized, the vendors treated us like special guests.
