Wonderful!!

We've already recommended this to our friends, and even gone back to two of the 4 of the places highlighted on our tour!

The Ricotta Cheesecake at Bellavitae was the best we've ever had.

We bought coffee from Porto Rico Importing, Co. and have already made some in a brand new French Press!

We got some noodles from Rafetto's and can't wait to make them.

Overall, This was one of the highlights of our trip. We hope to take one of the other food tours when we return!

Our tour was reccommended to us by friends who also took this tour. It surpassed our expectations. Our guide, Rajim was great. He was very knowledgeable about the food, and the history of the Village. Such a personalbe guide. The food choices were very tasty. Although it was a warm day, we enjoyed ourselves. We highly reccommend this tour.

I've taken other food tours and loved them. I wasn't as impressed with this one. There was less food tasting on this tour and a lot more history and walking to places that were not food orientated. I did leave with a good understanding of the area.

This is probably something I would bring out of town friends and family but still very good for me. Our tour guide was great. Learned a lot of interesting things about the area, the history...and seemed to know his restaurants (and food) pretty well. My only complaint (if any) was that we only visited a half dozen places to eat. The food was great though, wish I had more of an opportunity to sample some more of it....since it was all so good.

The food tour was very good and interesting. Learned the history of the area and went to restaurants and food stores I never would have found on my own.

This is the 2nd tour I've taken and highly recommend it.

Great guide, great food, sore feet!

The tour was terrific, both for relatively new residents of the area and for our out-of-town guests. The guide was friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The food tastings were excellent and filling. We went back for dinner at one of the places a couple of nights later. Be warned, though, the tour is long and there is very little opportunity to sit down. So be prepared and take the chances to sit when you get them!

More history than food

Overall I enjoyed the tour, it was very informative, providing a historical overview of the area and highlighting current hotspots. But since the tour was specifically a "Food Tour" I expected a little more emphasis on the food culture and tastings. I would have appreciated more tasting stops as there was certainly enough time for them.
